work the Diablo, play in a band and lots of other fun stuff. Duties include, helping at artist circles, craft
, ^# V; B- y# M8 T2 `5 T3 g- O3 kprep, door person, stagehand, and clean up.
( X$ d+ [. o! j* KChalk Chics: Festival goers will be asked to participate in chalk drawings. Volunteers will be helping the- g' |- l3 C0 k* i/ \+ Q4 `: B* z
artist by providing whatever support is needed for this activity. More details to come.# G) T# ?% d0 i4 ]# M; [
Environment: We need lots of volunteers to help ensure that the Square is kept looking beautiful for
' C" Q. I1 U8 f' I; H$ M! S' P) Dvisitors to the festival. We provide equipment and materials to help you dispose of garbage and sort the& [5 W( |4 A. W6 o& ?
recyclables.
1 P6 s: j6 Y r1 ^5 f, b4 X" iFront of House: If you are well organized, like people, and can handle line up control and questions, be& S; c' z0 P3 G. w+ E" t
part of the door crew for our three indoor theatre events. You must be able to work late into the evening.
: _1 @5 d3 l5 [9 [5 ^Hospitality: The volunteers are off site in the host hotel looking after our artists and guests by providing
" \& c! f$ x* |( S0 b9 @" @them with delicious meals, snacks and beverages in the Hospitality Suite. Some heavy lifting and late
/ B0 j/ l( }/ ?5 nhours are part of this crew’s duties.

festival - who, what, when where and how is their business. They also sell merchandise and provide

Kids’ World: Enjoy some time entertaining the wee folks. Activities and games will be provided for
$ A. B0 o9 f% b) weveryone coming to this area. Help our creative coordinators make this place an enjoyable experience.
) k8 ~1 Q& ]3 P* U/ J6 }( AOffice: Duties will include answering telephone inquiries about the festival, selling seats to the ticketed
& w3 v. K! R' a) Q6 x! N7 Levents and general office duties. Volunteers must have a good telephone manner and knowledge of the) m3 g# p' d. q: I

Site: Volunteers will help our Production manager and his assistant make sure all that the physical site is2 F5 y: h1 w2 M# I1 v# |+ S& J. E
operating smoothly. From erecting tents to flying banners and putting up fencing, it is important that you! r: P# b# v5 X4 a' G+ t7 t( I+ W
are physically fit and ready for any emergency.
2 A, z' x- H: UStage: All volunteers who are helping with any theatrical productions must have some previous training" G! J+ a* }7 x2 T8 \6 `
and/or understanding of back stage procedures.) C9 P3 }/ ]/ e/ ~
Transportation: Volunteers 25 years of age with a clean driving license, (driver’s abstract will be
7 L$ ^( f& a9 W* I) A6 ?required), will be asked to drive artists to and from various performance locations in the city as well as
/ T; k4 ?1 W% R3 x- R z i! C8 q3 Fairport arrivals and departures. Other duties include day to day pick ups and deliveries that the festival, d0 s8 D3 V3 H- b
staff and artists may require. A good knowledge of the city is required. |
