Be Your Own Busker (ATB Big Top): Work with creative people who will teach patrons to juggle and. N3 G+ G" {' B3 O
work the Diablo, play in a band and lots of other fun stuff. Duties include, helping at artist circles, craft
# K! Q% p% P/ d H/ T; _: s2 }prep, door person, stagehand, and clean up.% b1 Q6 Z# p* z ~# T, z; p& ]
Chalk Chics: Festival goers will be asked to participate in chalk drawings. Volunteers will be helping the
! G3 Z) d- X$ k/ Cartist by providing whatever support is needed for this activity. More details to come.4 k9 C, {3 g; S
Environment: We need lots of volunteers to help ensure that the Square is kept looking beautiful for
# A6 h7 J0 o. ]0 S$ u3 Bvisitors to the festival. We provide equipment and materials to help you dispose of garbage and sort the+ I; a w& h& {
recyclables.: C( }5 _5 M1 S# L# _4 S. L; q* Q
Front of House: If you are well organized, like people, and can handle line up control and questions, be) Z& I5 B4 U+ T+ v) Z
part of the door crew for our three indoor theatre events. You must be able to work late into the evening.
4 o& Z, Z, z3 A" w0 ^Hospitality: The volunteers are off site in the host hotel looking after our artists and guests by providing1 c) d2 B' w; {- N9 H
them with delicious meals, snacks and beverages in the Hospitality Suite. Some heavy lifting and late
7 _/ @5 P" V5 o5 H3 ]8 Xhours are part of this crew’s duties.
, [$ E6 n( h' ^/ ~3 ZInformation: Inside the Info trailer, volunteers on this crew know everything there is to know about the
3 T( W7 z/ [& j1 Ifestival - who, what, when where and how is their business. They also sell merchandise and provide

Kids’ World: Enjoy some time entertaining the wee folks. Activities and games will be provided for
) |) O! a, o1 X4 Severyone coming to this area. Help our creative coordinators make this place an enjoyable experience.! [8 u; \# Q* i3 Z) Q
Office: Duties will include answering telephone inquiries about the festival, selling seats to the ticketed
0 C8 s/ P! }. \: N, N, i( Sevents and general office duties. Volunteers must have a good telephone manner and knowledge of the$ @, g1 ` |2 l
festival.. H2 o8 ~/ x! y9 M% D6 Z9 T, b1 P
Site: Volunteers will help our Production manager and his assistant make sure all that the physical site is) ^% S+ Z k( {& e, Q
operating smoothly. From erecting tents to flying banners and putting up fencing, it is important that you, C- n# _" B. T, ]# b% y6 \ j
are physically fit and ready for any emergency.
& H: O1 Y% |( }0 Z0 e1 I3 XStage: All volunteers who are helping with any theatrical productions must have some previous training
$ e% t3 M+ k8 t0 Kand/or understanding of back stage procedures.) o& A# s% I6 A9 b3 _/ q
Transportation: Volunteers 25 years of age with a clean driving license, (driver’s abstract will be* b4 A+ M/ I" E' ?# y; U g4 s+ D
required), will be asked to drive artists to and from various performance locations in the city as well as' e" y+ C( X, R5 q( D# o# U! U
airport arrivals and departures. Other duties include day to day pick ups and deliveries that the festival4 N$ p/ J* Q' Q; ~1 ?! H) L) ]7 b
staff and artists may require. A good knowledge of the city is required. |
