Audience Services: Provides information, aid and security on the site for everyone participating in the

: q) C- X) x+ a* z; y, g- [Be Your Own Busker (ATB Big Top): Work with creative people who will teach patrons to juggle and; O, q. d: Q2 |9 W$ r( e
work the Diablo, play in a band and lots of other fun stuff. Duties include, helping at artist circles, craft
% `. Q3 K0 R2 i3 A( @2 Fprep, door person, stagehand, and clean up.
1 M3 V% Z$ J! c+ d8 K( TChalk Chics: Festival goers will be asked to participate in chalk drawings. Volunteers will be helping the) z5 q5 U- B; d
artist by providing whatever support is needed for this activity. More details to come.
- V& i* c3 n. G# z% {2 y! e2 {Environment: We need lots of volunteers to help ensure that the Square is kept looking beautiful for; z' E; }% g! @: b
visitors to the festival. We provide equipment and materials to help you dispose of garbage and sort the3 p$ t/ X( I* Q7 b4 ^ G
recyclables.
; b& m' @8 O! r, N6 L" _8 vFront of House: If you are well organized, like people, and can handle line up control and questions, be4 _4 A O9 Z. u- C- V
part of the door crew for our three indoor theatre events. You must be able to work late into the evening.
* r8 w4 t3 Q' h3 R6 D- x4 EHospitality: The volunteers are off site in the host hotel looking after our artists and guests by providing
! G2 g% x& I6 T$ uthem with delicious meals, snacks and beverages in the Hospitality Suite. Some heavy lifting and late
$ |6 x5 C# B" K+ S0 D4 q: `' Z/ Thours are part of this crew’s duties.
0 `1 W2 T0 W5 O" xInformation: Inside the Info trailer, volunteers on this crew know everything there is to know about the4 j9 z: n: m# A& V9 G" S$ z+ q
festival - who, what, when where and how is their business. They also sell merchandise and provide
! g, L6 m+ X7 Q" M/ v# tprograms to visitors to the festival.7 K2 O2 y6 q, D
Kids’ World: Enjoy some time entertaining the wee folks. Activities and games will be provided for$ k* t/ I! G) Q) R* M7 \
everyone coming to this area. Help our creative coordinators make this place an enjoyable experience./ x# P$ e9 T& @2 j
Office: Duties will include answering telephone inquiries about the festival, selling seats to the ticketed/ h0 `4 M7 P m* L$ S4 u6 h
events and general office duties. Volunteers must have a good telephone manner and knowledge of the
% M7 X% y$ f1 u& Vfestival.
2 d! d" J* ]) `2 FSite: Volunteers will help our Production manager and his assistant make sure all that the physical site is
, t6 R0 S0 i9 m$ |9 soperating smoothly. From erecting tents to flying banners and putting up fencing, it is important that you0 [! U2 v6 I0 ?; ~& Q
are physically fit and ready for any emergency.
_8 M* x2 ~( G1 x* `6 }+ uStage: All volunteers who are helping with any theatrical productions must have some previous training$ j% k" L/ V6 A9 \
and/or understanding of back stage procedures.& W7 t3 C8 k9 X# Z
Transportation: Volunteers 25 years of age with a clean driving license, (driver’s abstract will be
8 j$ [* ?6 O! c) Xrequired), will be asked to drive artists to and from various performance locations in the city as well as
. f! Z3 A1 J& s. D' R' v7 c3 u$ Xairport arrivals and departures. Other duties include day to day pick ups and deliveries that the festival8 b7 i& I- O3 K& \
staff and artists may require. A good knowledge of the city is required. |
