followings rare operatic performance.  The organizer has offered 2 free

tickets for each school; please select 2 students from your school to

1 P# e- _0 c, MThe Asian Chinese Opera Association and the Hong Kong SingFai Opera
( _! ]; g' I* C. ^7 c! a3 i3 UAssociation (Children Div.) is putting together an Opera performance at
SUB
theatre, U of Alberta, Jul. 21, Sat. at 1-4 pm.  The casts are led by 2

instructors - Lau Wai Ming and Fong Suet Ying, both are Champions of
the
Cantonse Opera Contest in Hong Kong and was awarded outstanding
Achievements
in Arts Education in the teacher category by the Hong Kong Arts

6 d1 E; N& t0 Z3 c* z) {+ g1 _- T; yCouncil.  Children cast members are ranging from 6 - 15 years old.  The

performance will be done in English with Chinese operatic music; plus a

songs in well-known Cantonese Opera... The performance was done to
sold-out
' {" V  e7 _$ N6 u8 y) dcrowds in various Hong Kong venues and received rave review from the
