2000. The Chief Returning Officer shall be recommended to Students'

3) To choose the Deputy Returning Officer(s) and assign their duties.' I4 l8 H; p" {3 j

4) To organize polls during elections/referenda, including appointing
" \! J# b' M7 j# d) p+ Dadequate poll staff and situating polls at appropriate locations 4 i; ~" M: _9 S( X: B$ `' C
across campus, and advertising the poll locations.

5) To oversee the physical count of the ballots during elections/ + Z: k0 B ?0 }* F v q/ D: [

referendum.

Bylaw 2000.

0 _2 M$ u4 b0 q* {; o+ t) _8 f7 aminimum of four (4) working hours a day, between Monday to Friday, 0 h3 a) K4 w9 C
from the first working day after nominations close until the last day # h$ n. X$ W" C7 i* D
of voting. These hours are to be posted in advance.- P" s6 m: W4 s2 f7 D& y7 ?( h3 {, Z

11) To act as the arbitrator in any dispute which may arise during

12) To ensure that a cost effective and accurate ballot counting

14) To organize a minimum of one (1) forum to be held during the week 9 n4 Y. I% o0 ^
of campaigning.

15) Perform other job related duties as required by the Council

for each of the terms of Winter Session and shall be a full Students'

2 D ?" m, j2 U/ I3 d2) Must have some experience in student elections.

with the Students' Union.

4) Willingness and ability to work varying hours.
