year following their appointment.

1) To run the elections as per Bylaws 2000

2) To run referenda/plebiscites as per Bylaw 2000.

3) To choose the Deputy Returning Officer(s) and assign their duties.% L& N0 X# i3 ^( w

4) To organize polls during elections/referenda, including appointing
! e2 i E8 C3 vadequate poll staff and situating polls at appropriate locations ( l. ~; ^, E. ~4 Y$ f/ z) c
across campus, and advertising the poll locations.

7) To facilitate classroom speaking arrangements during an election/ & I3 B1 \* ~2 B- p' y

2 E$ F9 U* ^9 y% D# Y8 M To enforce budgetary regulations as stipulated in the Elections

5 N/ Y; v: d" R10) To be available to all parties during elections/referenda for a ( x) R( _. R p" {+ L5 E3 e
minimum of four (4) working hours a day, between Monday to Friday, 7 A: B: _- y7 F5 W8 i8 T$ d
from the first working day after nominations close until the last day

11) To act as the arbitrator in any dispute which may arise during - p: t8 ^3 _# F" M
the course of an election/referendum.

12) To ensure that a cost effective and accurate ballot counting

of campaigning.

1) Must be an undergrad student registered in at least one (1) course

9 [, `2 \# b7 a2) Must have some experience in student elections.

3) Shall not concurrently hold a position on Students' Council, or
; {2 m3 M8 n, Dany of its standing boards, committees, or any other paid position 5 @2 S# n8 y) ~2 q+ ]; f

5) Excellent project management skills are required.
