DOORPERSON (RATT)

JOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
; o7 I' z1 M3 [! o# R1 U% Y* `: V(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
policies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
: e* c3 _6 V  o1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
" d) K/ Y" k" J8 j' p7 w. vand are University affiliated.
- z- M) q9 n9 ]5 e1 E
2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.

3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
  X/ [! B% z! ~- s# z' J1 Z/ Nof garbage.

! i, [5 Q$ o3 O7 u4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
. Z3 c; |' _  y' {consumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.
. F7 p' g& _4 @$ K& ~
3 F2 y$ m+ _/ i6 w- m5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
area when required.

6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
Manager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

/ k: y# f; J+ iQUALIFICATIONS;
4 t, ?' ^' \6 y/ S) J5 A, M1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.
3 o7 ]/ w- I& N  d- q
2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
of patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
calmly under extremely stressful conditions.

3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

4) Must be physically capable.

Shift: 6 - 12 hours per week, 7pm - 1am Fridays and Saturdays
