( F% X$ {, D% A1.        Serve as a key business and licensing role within a cross-functional team for identification, evaluation and licensing of strategically important technologies.  
2.        Manage technology alliance activities, including the coordination of appropriate agreements’ execution, alliance negotiations, and post-deal compliance in China.  
3.        Develop business plan and strategy to integrate new technology into existing global research and business platforms.

1 {, W9 e, ?- b# J3 l# C" H' L0 oPERSONAL ATTRIBUTES AND COMPETENCIES:
/ k4 c, ]* b9 T5 x& i
1.        MBA and/or advanced scientific degree in agricultural biotechnology related fields (such as plant molecular, cellular and developmental biology, genomics, and plant genetics, bioinformatics, etc.) are highly desirable.  
4 v/ Z( c1 O8 }& @. z3 ]5 g2.        Proven experience in technology identification and licensing within China, or equivalent experience with biotechnology research and commercial licensing agreements is preferred.
4 X8 V* ^2 W9 K3.        Working knowledge of Intellectual Property policies, including Chinese and international patent regulations and procedures would be advantageous.  
7 Q' {8 ]2 }( x5 U) T( P4.        Productive business and scientific interactions and good relationships with major biotechnology institutes in China would be advantageous.
5.        Able to work independently as well as cooperatively in a cross-functional and multi-cultural environment.

8.        Able to travel frequently within and outside of China.
