+ ~; E9 P  h( w; |KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

1.        Serve as a key business and licensing role within a cross-functional team for identification, evaluation and licensing of strategically important technologies.  
0 o* B" r/ X" l2.        Manage technology alliance activities, including the coordination of appropriate agreements’ execution, alliance negotiations, and post-deal compliance in China.  
3.        Develop business plan and strategy to integrate new technology into existing global research and business platforms.

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES AND COMPETENCIES:

1.        MBA and/or advanced scientific degree in agricultural biotechnology related fields (such as plant molecular, cellular and developmental biology, genomics, and plant genetics, bioinformatics, etc.) are highly desirable.  
4 c/ ?+ T& M8 n& x. F2.        Proven experience in technology identification and licensing within China, or equivalent experience with biotechnology research and commercial licensing agreements is preferred.
! ]! }! k7 n( m# {% ~; W3.        Working knowledge of Intellectual Property policies, including Chinese and international patent regulations and procedures would be advantageous.  
; R, X1 u6 N% s$ L. i4.        Productive business and scientific interactions and good relationships with major biotechnology institutes in China would be advantageous.
. S, D4 h* y/ o5.        Able to work independently as well as cooperatively in a cross-functional and multi-cultural environment.  
6.        Strong written and spoken communication skills in both English and Chinese.

8.        Able to travel frequently within and outside of China.
