laboratory book; communicating problems and implementing solutions i' [% G* n5 i5 u+ b8 q; m1 S$ b
effectively with assigned lab supervisor; and flexibility to interact
1 N2 }" e: ^/ K8 e" a- swith a number of ongoing projects. The successful candidate will develop
- J) s3 z& H" F+ r% l" t, D/ zskills in analytical techniques, fundamental and applied research in a' P2 w6 W0 y, j" F
supportive environment. Possible interaction with full-scale testing of9 J5 I& t& `- G
novel materials and inter-departmental facilities. & ~* K: Q! O- K" u8 O4 K
% J4 v( v$ a# W2 u( ]; ENo previous experience necessary; ability to work with people, work$ _1 b+ J6 ]5 e5 T& A
safely and learn new skills in a laboratory environment; interest in* W* ]( v( u" L$ D4 D6 Z0 m
environmental emissions controls for industry.

Preference will be given to second year or more advanced students with
