! A6 t9 Q3 ?+ N, A' EJOB SUMMARY:  Responsible to and under the general supervision of the  
0 o# d  f" C+ X3 ?5 VOperations Manager, the Bartender is responsible for carrying out the  
0 M  _/ }- ^& Hprocedures necessary to maintain a high standard of customer service,  
6 T; y9 d2 r: Q4 i, L0 M/ Vcleanliness and order in the bar.
) c  g6 r  C5 _) @5 S, i( h  |2 a: w
. f" L4 m) Z5 C) D0 E) n5 YDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:5 |4 n1 o9 m) Y- D& N
1) Provides service to Servers and customers by dispensing food and  2 D: C) j  p) U4 s) ?
beverage items.
) D9 ^1 p+ c, c- C: C$ C) p4 O4 T7 }
2) Responsible for handling cash for the products sold, and for the  : h9 ^7 {6 N, t& H
bar and debit floats.
$ I0 W' N5 b! [* T$ j6 I  O4 l/ X! \4 R: U/ {: D+ l
3) Opens and closes the bar - counts floats and sales at the end of  
7 q1 v) Z1 h6 x6 W- C& @/ y- d4 {each shift, and upon closing./ _, g/ P1 c6 J* s- w
  J. U6 i) S+ @" p1 Y
4) Cleanliness of all areas, supplies and equipment, with particular  
8 _& f! e* b  z$ R9 k3 N( tattention to areas used by customers including bar counters and  
6 S( b& @- Y$ Jseating, tables and chairs and surrounding floor surfaces.& z) k7 `9 v! F1 J0 E2 T

5) Receives orders from suppliers, rotating stock as required in  
( {8 l. i7 \. ]) z5 T. ~- ?storage areas.   Restocks kegs, back-bar beer coolers and all alcohol  ' l( P8 C: r, _. Z/ f
products, serving supplies and condiments at the end of each shift.8 e3 W7 \$ U7 D: o' p" n/ i9 o: y

6) Supervision of staff, with particular attention to close  
  {% {, q- B* b- k: @7 Ymonitoring of Servers to ensure that customers consistently receive a  7 q! Q7 U8 }- T9 y& i
high level of customer service offered with a positive attitude in  # i% W! l, t% B. p% f
accordance with Students' Union policies.

QUALIFICATIONS:" f* x1 x# Y1 q+ ?
1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.
7 F3 Y  ~) _% S# y4 |% T& l* B
& @5 {( `. D8 g. ?( A, o2) Minimum of two years experience bartending in a high-volume  * o3 ?" L# e$ b$ U3 C
operation.5 Z0 I4 d% {1 G% g% N% A, q
, z  N% J, m9 n, o
3) Excellent work habits, appearance, personal hygiene and dress in  ( u1 e- O/ m! M% L$ y
accordance with Students' Union policy.

4 Q, y5 t8 r1 ?4) Good physical condition, the ability to handle full beer kegs.6 j9 u6 E$ X- e8 ^

5) Ability to interact effectively with all customers and Students´  
/ c1 G; W- s% [5 GUnion staff while presenting a friendly, respectful and diplomatic  , `9 v& g- s4 H- c' w: e7 Z1 W
attitude.

Wage: $7.73/hour (under negotiation) plus 50% discount on food
