JOB SUMMARY: Responsible to and under the general supervision of the + W/ X& h* v( S( ?9 J* G
Operations Manager, the Bartender is responsible for carrying out the . u* {2 o. N: p1 z% l- P" y
procedures necessary to maintain a high standard of customer service, L. ?0 c6 v! \, D1 K5 @

/ G+ a0 a. _, a7 R1) Provides service to Servers and customers by dispensing food and ' u' s7 h( f/ t' B! g
beverage items., k! ^: x" [ y& Z
: s. j) K8 C* u' r2) Responsible for handling cash for the products sold, and for the
4 `2 Q1 E/ {0 h& F9 _/ Vbar and debit floats.. j$ `& o) H( s& ]
1 t0 I* a& B8 I- H0 V3) Opens and closes the bar - counts floats and sales at the end of
( `8 O- A5 P, ]+ R. oeach shift, and upon closing.9 ?. {# S# k2 R6 l

4) Cleanliness of all areas, supplies and equipment, with particular
: o: {$ g- ~% Lattention to areas used by customers including bar counters and

5) Receives orders from suppliers, rotating stock as required in
- c: Q: h+ L C8 Y% C5 {( U: Ostorage areas. Restocks kegs, back-bar beer coolers and all alcohol % O% L6 t( f- E
products, serving supplies and condiments at the end of each shift.9 z4 ^( R7 G' t2 j
& y" c3 S! J# n$ A! f& c# O6 C6) Supervision of staff, with particular attention to close

QUALIFICATIONS:- [" J. {: r/ v# S) @1 s9 n
1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.& j2 P; J9 W4 }

2) Minimum of two years experience bartending in a high-volume & s5 j A) z" I+ a3 @3 n4 F+ X6 }0 }
operation.- l! J: r5 y$ g0 F

3) Excellent work habits, appearance, personal hygiene and dress in
. Q" r) c5 f) a5 A! daccordance with Students' Union policy.

6 D- X5 ~1 ^ N% [4) Good physical condition, the ability to handle full beer kegs.
