Salary to be paid will be $14.00 per hour (includes vacation pay, stat

Hours per week will be 20 - 30 - 20 during the first few weeks, then 30
. u! Y6 O6 i9 P, J+ a9 I4 B- 35 per week during the busy period. There may be an opportunity for
the student to stay on a casual basis (10 - 20 hours per week) once the
: U! i1 R5 P  D+ D& l# kschool year starts.

3 a. {' p# @: X+ v1 [Duties include: preparing for programs by working with current staff at
  R" B8 h# Y' q/ g% I* _% mCIBS to secure and schedule various program requirements (off-campus
% h7 r% Q& K( A8 Evenues, tour agents, goods and services, program materials and supplies,
/ K- u& X  J4 i, P) c' X5 J4 retc.); reproducing and distributing documents and correspondence for
9 J8 M) k0 q2 f, _! w0 A" Gparticipants, assisting to orient participants to the University and
+ }# g  A4 C& ^% Ttheir program on their arrival, and trouble-shooting for them during
their program; booking program venues, setting up for sessions,
assisting visiting speakers or invited session presenters, striking
% b6 e- ^% u: E1 V% Wvenue at end of session; traveling as guide with groups on in-city
outings or site visits, or, occasionally, on overnight out-of-city
: `8 `1 r( a. jexcursions (does not involve driving or overnight week night
- T) F4 O+ d4 j) Yexcursions); interpreting (non-technical exchanges) at meetings or
0 U( N9 N+ f) J$ h6 Z) Wfunctions; translating, revising or drafting program-related documents
such as schedules, itineraries, notices, correspondence, PowerPoint
. r$ c% ~7 m8 V- Vpresentations, program binders, evaluation forms, etc.

& `# g. e; Q# ?) y& KQualifications include: senior undergrad student; coursework in
Commerce, Education or Economics preferred, ability to communicate
fluently (oral and written) in English and Mandarin Chinese,
& f" [9 g& i3 ]3 H, X& ldemonstrates a high-level of self organization, initiative to undertake
a variety of tasks; ability to coordinate individual efforts with those
( l1 M2 G0 L* _- z1 _0 \of co-workers, excellent interpersonal organization and time-management
skills; accuracy to detail; working knowledge of MS applications (Word,
/ ?- m: c: X( W" B/ YExcel, PowerPoint and Outlook); administrative experience an asset,
experience coordinating group activities an asset.
