venues, tour agents, goods and services, program materials and supplies,0 s8 Q/ ^3 g) b: E% ^' `+ @
etc.); reproducing and distributing documents and correspondence for
; w' g8 d9 c% X7 hparticipants, assisting to orient participants to the University and
% Z$ H6 u, b, _! D6 C z4 Jtheir program on their arrival, and trouble-shooting for them during
8 ~; `/ F9 g: f; D0 w4 U- rtheir program; booking program venues, setting up for sessions,
& ?1 x0 w, X- A( I: T, A$ |9 \assisting visiting speakers or invited session presenters, striking
6 T8 m% C j7 ~! q% y0 tvenue at end of session; traveling as guide with groups on in-city
0 \4 t4 ~; _. F$ ~$ C) t2 }, youtings or site visits, or, occasionally, on overnight out-of-city

excursions); interpreting (non-technical exchanges) at meetings or

such as schedules, itineraries, notices, correspondence, PowerPoint

Qualifications include: senior undergrad student; coursework in
$ t- g2 n: z% C& T6 W c2 ?+ bCommerce, Education or Economics preferred, ability to communicate7 P3 M, ^ J+ ?3 b) o
fluently (oral and written) in English and Mandarin Chinese,! `( ~0 z5 y; d+ l
demonstrates a high-level of self organization, initiative to undertake5 x3 v- l5 l- Q b# s6 Q7 M
a variety of tasks; ability to coordinate individual efforts with those1 q8 s; G4 w/ B+ g, d
of co-workers, excellent interpersonal organization and time-management
M" A; N) ?: a; \4 _, _) r$ Sskills; accuracy to detail; working knowledge of MS applications (Word,
7 e9 ^6 M6 s3 Y* ?! S; VExcel, PowerPoint and Outlook); administrative experience an asset,
