Salary to be paid will be $15.00 per hour for a 40 hour week.
) }) @( \1 S  Y+ B6 e1 H
Duties include: working closely with graduate students and research
# U; o5 d6 e2 C2 o. a0 n: dtechnicians, the candidate will work on the synthesis of intermediates
for use in chemical and biochemical research. Particular duties will
include carrying out chemical and/or enzymatic reactions and purifying
compounds by chromatography.

Qualifications include successful completion of courses in organic
; \& J. Q8 p" oChemistry (Chemistry 263 or equivalent) and ideally biochemistry and
analytical chemistry; familiarity with basic biology and chromatographic
separations important. Attention to detail and ability to work as part
& L( y/ ]8 n" Rof a team essential.
This position will provide the candidate with experience in biochemical
and chemical research and would be ideal for students who ultimately
hope to work in these areas.
