# D5 Q. u) |. v, _7 ~! I5 LSalary to be paid will be $15.00 per hour for a 40 hour week.

Duties include: working closely with graduate students and research
/ x$ w! V% ^- F% u" Z5 n1 Z2 gtechnicians, the candidate will work on the synthesis of intermediates
for use in chemical and biochemical research. Particular duties will
include carrying out chemical and/or enzymatic reactions and purifying
compounds by chromatography.

Qualifications include successful completion of courses in organic
Chemistry (Chemistry 263 or equivalent) and ideally biochemistry and
& H% y) ~2 s; l5 \analytical chemistry; familiarity with basic biology and chromatographic
3 M, V" X+ e; Xseparations important. Attention to detail and ability to work as part
6 m( z" t- ]9 U1 |' q+ h9 d, Sof a team essential.
7 P; g: f3 G5 }  i' FThis position will provide the candidate with experience in biochemical
and chemical research and would be ideal for students who ultimately
  u$ N: [3 G& O) nhope to work in these areas.
