Salary to be paid will be $15.00 per hour for a 40 hour week.

Duties include: working closely with graduate students and research
' i- v+ c# y& ~" s( h' f  F0 c$ {technicians, the candidate will work on the synthesis of intermediates
for use in chemical and biochemical research. Particular duties will
5 v7 }0 g; D; E$ vinclude carrying out chemical and/or enzymatic reactions and purifying
compounds by chromatography.
/ r/ o( e) a1 |# p0 u
Qualifications include successful completion of courses in organic
Chemistry (Chemistry 263 or equivalent) and ideally biochemistry and
) K' B/ U- N* r* \: yanalytical chemistry; familiarity with basic biology and chromatographic
separations important. Attention to detail and ability to work as part
' \$ m) ^( w+ Fof a team essential.
1 P3 }: G5 r; F. N- sThis position will provide the candidate with experience in biochemical
' g9 B2 l" O: v$ ^2 p5 w/ aand chemical research and would be ideal for students who ultimately
hope to work in these areas.
