1 G' w3 S& L& c+ N0 f$ @1 SSalary to be paid will be $15.00 per hour for a 40 hour week.

! z0 `: C, L) j) [2 Q3 ]/ gDuties include: working closely with graduate students and research
technicians, the candidate will work on the synthesis of intermediates
- u" a0 Y8 C) [: d! @9 \for use in chemical and biochemical research. Particular duties will
5 h7 Y: }, l- Ainclude carrying out chemical and/or enzymatic reactions and purifying
9 m$ h8 l. o  F! u8 E! h$ w5 zcompounds by chromatography.

Qualifications include successful completion of courses in organic
! L: n6 Q; T0 l7 SChemistry (Chemistry 263 or equivalent) and ideally biochemistry and
  {* a) |6 I- d; w* p9 @analytical chemistry; familiarity with basic biology and chromatographic
separations important. Attention to detail and ability to work as part
, ?' U5 q2 R8 b: M6 ?: @of a team essential.

and chemical research and would be ideal for students who ultimately
