Job Summary:
, i v" @; L6 [8 \The Non-ferrous laborer must be able to properly identify and sort non-ferrous metals. Applies knowledge of non-ferrous metals to properly identify materials when interacting with customers. Prepares non-ferrous materials for transport. Both indoor and outdoor, fast-paced setting.

Inspects material for hazardous waste and grades different types of non-ferrous materials! X( c6 {" t2 ?5 k3 r& l) y
Loads and unloads non-ferrous material
. J: R! w( {& e( u9 v: o( u. EMust be able to work safely at all times7 X g/ P, k6 F7 T' S3 z! k& H
Be able to effectively perform tasks independently& D3 l1 O" c. ^
Performs routine housekeeping.& @ `& o9 w T- }
Observes and reports any safety issues

Experience stripping equipment and/or with manual material sorting. z' `& Y* c) e s2 H/ i& m, \
Knowledge of non-ferrous processing& K! B% s1 M0 U+ ^) L1 m( U* `
High school diploma (Or GED)% T4 V+ M! G# M1 @# J- |
Well-articulated and assertive y% g9 p. |' p! R, e. m4 |5 Z% N
Ability to effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors, maintenance personnel and other employees of the organization
