CAC Enterprises Group Inc. is a scrap metal recycling facility that is currently seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver. We have work that takes us to many destinations within the city of Edmonton, (occasionally the province of Alberta) and need a conscientious and safety focused driver to join our team.

+ V+ {4 V7 S0 w' U- T6 S· Perform pre-trip, post-trip inspections and preventative maintenance checks and paperwork
  S+ e! v* F! E3 f  Q7 n, g
5 X+ c$ b" ]) Q+ o' I) M; r· Connecting and disconnecting trailers

( K2 z) t2 F. o+ I' k+ f· Record keeping of travel details, repairs and inspections
% _& k3 d( n; }' W& S% f' g; v
· Keep equipment tidy, clean and in good working order

· Running flat decks, step decks, containers and super b’s
. z0 l4 e& {4 P
· Operate manual and automatic shifts

· Pick up and deliver containers in an efficient manner
. P! U/ M6 F" f3 Q* W! E6 X. ~Qualifications and Training Requirements

8 i7 {3 ]) [2 p* @- X· Minimum 3 years experience

2 s4 K6 W. o4 [+ \. _. e# I& m· Valid Class 1 license

1 P0 q& Q/ Z$ y4 Y· 5 years clean driving record and abstract

  G) Z3 y9 C& H. [* o· Load securement certification

· Familiarity with industry safety rules and regulations

$ |' M" Z' y$ M' a" G7 B· Excellent organizational and time management skills
+ m: G. a, a% \3 S6 z2 J. A. C
· Good communication skills and understanding of English (written and verbal)

· Knowledge of large vehicle maintenance, traffic regulations and a good sense of orientation

· Working in this industry requires patience and respect; sometimes the job takes longer than we would like but always being tolerant is paramount.
