CAC Enterprises Group Inc. is a scrap metal recycling facility that is currently seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver. We have work that takes us to many destinations within the city of Edmonton, (occasionally the province of Alberta) and need a conscientious and safety focused driver to join our team.

: d7 f5 z) ]/ o7 Y; @· Perform pre-trip, post-trip inspections and preventative maintenance checks and paperwork

" E9 K3 I1 \, s6 Z- a# `, m· Connecting and disconnecting trailers

· Record keeping of travel details, repairs and inspections

" A6 K/ A7 Y% A9 x+ k· Keep equipment tidy, clean and in good working order

  d) C* P" P5 [/ }· Running flat decks, step decks, containers and super b’s

Qualifications and Training Requirements
8 M  M" V$ Y* O: o- {
· Minimum 3 years experience
5 H$ H% r; U. u
' [) ]4 `0 j! B; z$ s( J) k3 d· Valid Class 1 license

· 5 years clean driving record and abstract
7 D8 p% u2 }3 K$ K' w* Z' j! J# ?
. y8 l2 ]# A2 }: x5 t· Load securement certification
, d7 o9 X# H( a1 f
· Familiarity with industry safety rules and regulations

· Excellent organizational and time management skills
! v6 _$ u! ]/ {+ k- D
. A( t0 d/ i* e1 u' }2 Y· Good communication skills and understanding of English (written and verbal)

/ R& D& Y9 |- @* O* x; z· Knowledge of large vehicle maintenance, traffic regulations and a good sense of orientation
