Class 1 Driver Needed

CAC Enterprises Group Inc. is a scrap metal recycling facility that is currently seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver. We have work that takes us to many destinations within the city of Edmonton, (occasionally the province of Alberta) and need a conscientious and safety focused driver to join our team.

Key Job Duties

· Perform pre-trip, post-trip inspections and preventative maintenance checks and paperwork
. O* t! N' J& x& k2 W/ S4 y, Q$ ~
· Connecting and disconnecting trailers
9 T8 o" e; J: g4 M* x! G; K
4 l7 a* L/ M& z0 l# q1 r· Record keeping of travel details, repairs and inspections

· Keep equipment tidy, clean and in good working order

$ `" M- K# P6 w% R· Running flat decks, step decks, containers and super b’s
2 M6 s" @7 o" g9 J
· Operate manual and automatic shifts

· Secure loads safely

· Pick up and deliver containers in an efficient manner

· Minimum 3 years experience
) }0 w7 F% ~: k3 a' C0 I4 m% S
% A- S8 J( @$ J9 \; N# ~· Valid Class 1 license

· 5 years clean driving record and abstract
# N; r( a, X1 C+ ?
· Load securement certification

* A" i1 ]) t6 Y! G2 j· Familiarity with industry safety rules and regulations

· Excellent organizational and time management skills

· Good communication skills and understanding of English (written and verbal)

· Knowledge of large vehicle maintenance, traffic regulations and a good sense of orientation

· Oversized loads experience is considered an asset
