CAC Enterprises Group Inc. is a scrap metal recycling facility that is currently seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver. We have work that takes us to many destinations within the city of Edmonton, (occasionally the province of Alberta) and need a conscientious and safety focused driver to join our team.

· Perform pre-trip, post-trip inspections and preventative maintenance checks and paperwork
) k, i0 q$ Q% S+ S
· Connecting and disconnecting trailers
5 x" @2 l, \. g& r2 p" ~
· Record keeping of travel details, repairs and inspections
( ^- D9 z' B3 n4 `( g
8 N; K% G' K% j· Keep equipment tidy, clean and in good working order
9 j4 q7 q1 d, y( a* ]# ^% ]* c
. f' M* }% H! R& b· Running flat decks, step decks, containers and super b’s
1 C, ]6 U/ m" _4 `4 H
  t0 y' P$ x6 h6 E· Operate manual and automatic shifts
) @1 B" s- n' S) ?) ?' A' }
· Secure loads safely

% K7 [% b  O6 [( D· Pick up and deliver containers in an efficient manner
) s0 t3 p+ T3 `8 b: [$ _! PQualifications and Training Requirements

% S$ R) G* Q: A8 n& |; Q, D  G# D· Minimum 3 years experience
; o$ X  A) |' X" o/ C% d
· Valid Class 1 license

5 Z! h; ]+ o/ c' J' I% C% s· 5 years clean driving record and abstract

· Load securement certification

7 M( a  H" a3 |2 K· Familiarity with industry safety rules and regulations

+ m! P( w. {0 B0 p+ [/ ?6 X· Excellent organizational and time management skills

* d2 {/ }' ?* S6 }7 C% k· Good communication skills and understanding of English (written and verbal)

· Knowledge of large vehicle maintenance, traffic regulations and a good sense of orientation

+ e, o: K2 j: o/ {# L* u· Working in this industry requires patience and respect; sometimes the job takes longer than we would like but always being tolerant is paramount.

· Oversized loads experience is considered an asset
