CAC Enterprises Group Inc. is a scrap metal recycling facility that is currently seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver. We have work that takes us to many destinations within the city of Edmonton, (occasionally the province of Alberta) and need a conscientious and safety focused driver to join our team.

Key Job Duties

9 {9 u7 ^3 H/ ^, f- H' v· Perform pre-trip, post-trip inspections and preventative maintenance checks and paperwork

% g( o+ o  e# \· Connecting and disconnecting trailers

' F2 u, V0 c, X/ O" Q/ o( D· Record keeping of travel details, repairs and inspections

· Keep equipment tidy, clean and in good working order
* e  ~6 n; m" b. m
7 Y( f: z# ]$ O/ t' Y· Running flat decks, step decks, containers and super b’s

· Operate manual and automatic shifts

· Secure loads safely

· Minimum 3 years experience

0 ]9 R; j4 _& l9 r2 b. O· Valid Class 1 license

; t* r" x( E+ ?4 d) [8 Z· Load securement certification

· Familiarity with industry safety rules and regulations

· Excellent organizational and time management skills

· Good communication skills and understanding of English (written and verbal)

( d4 r- y1 Q* {6 P* V· Knowledge of large vehicle maintenance, traffic regulations and a good sense of orientation

· Working in this industry requires patience and respect; sometimes the job takes longer than we would like but always being tolerant is paramount.
