CAC Enterprises Group Inc. is a scrap metal recycling facility that is currently seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver. We have work that takes us to many destinations within the city of Edmonton, (occasionally the province of Alberta) and need a conscientious and safety focused driver to join our team.

# |3 H! k+ B- S· Perform pre-trip, post-trip inspections and preventative maintenance checks and paperwork

· Connecting and disconnecting trailers

· Record keeping of travel details, repairs and inspections

4 Q2 a7 @, [0 F3 N· Keep equipment tidy, clean and in good working order

' `0 Y. Y& z- |, Y7 e1 T3 u' L· Running flat decks, step decks, containers and super b’s

· Operate manual and automatic shifts

· Secure loads safely

· Pick up and deliver containers in an efficient manner
, s" h9 ~, q/ v2 N: z9 lQualifications and Training Requirements

9 r! L- N- L2 s, F+ {· Minimum 3 years experience
. M- ]# J( F6 i9 o3 N) Q  c1 L
. {. G/ O- n8 a6 r7 J7 ]1 b8 K· Valid Class 1 license

· 5 years clean driving record and abstract

· Load securement certification

; Q1 f, Y: C9 b5 D1 I6 K- M· Familiarity with industry safety rules and regulations

· Excellent organizational and time management skills

% s- g3 }5 o$ \+ y· Good communication skills and understanding of English (written and verbal)

; d: [3 V! }1 ?; S5 J- j( L8 t" \4 Q· Knowledge of large vehicle maintenance, traffic regulations and a good sense of orientation

· Working in this industry requires patience and respect; sometimes the job takes longer than we would like but always being tolerant is paramount.

· Ability to make runs to town or day runs to Fort Mac

· Oversized loads experience is considered an asset
