MadeFresh Foods Inc. is a fresh food manufacturer providing high-quality ready-to-eat food to your local grocery store.   MadeFresh Foods Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician for a part time position in Edmonton, AB.
Brief Job Description:  Reporting to QA Manager, the main duty for the QA technician is to ensure all products conform to regulatory and food safety standards.  
& K( c+ K, L2 r7 NDuties and Responsibilities:
1. Shelf-life testing/environmental Swabbing
2. Maintain and verify QA and production records
, o9 i& O5 n8 M$ F0 a3. Monitoring and Verification of all CCPs
$ s6 E4 s4 [* u9 n! h4. Calibration of Equipment
5. GMP and other Food Safety trainings
6. Monitor production process and employees’ GMP practices
; y6 @! n# P0 f6 r7. Other duties as assigned
Skills and specifications:
4 {& Y! @& f. z( L) {3 x1. University or Diploma in Food Technology/Food Science
2. Knowledge in Food Safety and Quality Program (HACCP, Prerequisite Program and GMP)
3. Bilingual (Cantonese and English) is an asset
4 s  h6 T5 V; Y( p4. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment but also be able to work in a team environment
5. May need to work different hours
