MadeFresh Foods Inc. is a fresh food manufacturer providing high-quality ready-to-eat food to your local grocery store.   MadeFresh Foods Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician for a part time position in Edmonton, AB.
Brief Job Description:  Reporting to QA Manager, the main duty for the QA technician is to ensure all products conform to regulatory and food safety standards.  
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Shelf-life testing/environmental Swabbing
2. Maintain and verify QA and production records
, E' O( p# Q' h  e2 q3. Monitoring and Verification of all CCPs
6 Y1 G9 I" y4 t1 ?  P9 [4. Calibration of Equipment
8 L4 R0 B5 U. u3 ~1 L; G% _5. GMP and other Food Safety trainings
' X! e/ Z, ^5 h: `" O- h1 S, M6. Monitor production process and employees’ GMP practices
7. Other duties as assigned
Skills and specifications:
( d+ C# n/ a0 e8 Z: {7 C8 l1. University or Diploma in Food Technology/Food Science
2. Knowledge in Food Safety and Quality Program (HACCP, Prerequisite Program and GMP)
$ e7 _% o' a9 V; O1 D" m3. Bilingual (Cantonese and English) is an asset
4. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment but also be able to work in a team environment
5. May need to work different hours
