MadeFresh Foods Inc. is a fresh food manufacturer providing high-quality ready-to-eat food to your local grocery store.   MadeFresh Foods Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician for a part time position in Edmonton, AB.
Brief Job Description:  Reporting to QA Manager, the main duty for the QA technician is to ensure all products conform to regulatory and food safety standards.  
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Shelf-life testing/environmental Swabbing
% J7 {0 A$ n3 P, o- U% s; E2. Maintain and verify QA and production records
3. Monitoring and Verification of all CCPs
4. Calibration of Equipment
, F7 N& ^" N. U5. GMP and other Food Safety trainings
6. Monitor production process and employees’ GMP practices
7. Other duties as assigned
Skills and specifications:
# g$ h# d& C6 b4 T- f" }9 R1. University or Diploma in Food Technology/Food Science
0 \. l; ]$ w+ ?& |2 p2. Knowledge in Food Safety and Quality Program (HACCP, Prerequisite Program and GMP)
8 K4 X& l. |; j5 }. ?! A# }3 u3. Bilingual (Cantonese and English) is an asset
4. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment but also be able to work in a team environment
