Average house prices have hit half a million dollars in southwest Edmonton and almost $400,000 across the Capital region.% x0 t1 W, I4 D; I$ D

" E% F9 Z: O; REdmonton-area prices averaged $398,476 for single-family homes and $325,339 for all housing forms.

In only the first three months of this year, average home prices have climbed 12.4 per cent, so Pratt has abandoned her earlier forecast of a 15 per cent increase for the full year." A# X& r# I$ U0 \4 O
