CAC recycling is a metal recycling facility that provides on and off site processing to oil field and local businesses. We are currently seeking a self-motivated individual to fill our open  Accountant within our growing team.

+ G/ w: G0 j* w' JResponsibilities:
& {0 z) W/ `, p4 G9 |•        Manage all accounting transactions
•        Publish financial statements in time
5 r- j4 t1 b7 i•        Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
' S% S7 j! a, R8 Y•        Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
8 _$ E- _9 u* ^' x•        Ensure timely bank payments
•        Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
•        Maintain accounting system, documents, and records of the organization.
•        Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
' a( S" ?* s8 n•        Comply with financial policies and regulations
4 y& H5 ?( b4 B& O: |8 l+ O•       Other ad hoc duties as assigned

Accountant Requirements:
6 e$ T  l/ F, M' v3 n$ z
•        bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field (Essential).
•        Minimum 5 years of Accounting work experience (Essential)
7 r6 \1 I1 e: _& i2 Q* j•        2 years of Cost Accounting work experience. (Asset)
•        Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.
( Y6 U) a& X8 M) n! I% H•        Meticulous attention to detail with superb organizational skills.
•        Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
•        Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
•        Excellent report-writing, communication, and IT skills as an Asset.

Salary: 50K--60k dependent on experience.
