CAC recycling is a metal recycling facility that provides on and off site processing to oil field and local businesses. We are currently seeking a self-motivated individual to fill our open  Accountant within our growing team.
$ A+ O( [% P' r1 H% F3 C( i, N5 r4 S( n
Responsibilities:
' O4 q5 W, o6 l•        Manage all accounting transactions
•        Publish financial statements in time
5 V9 O* H- N- L•        Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
  G  _, D$ H, L' R0 V! E: ^•        Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
•        Ensure timely bank payments
•        Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
•        Maintain accounting system, documents, and records of the organization.
/ H5 T. n% K0 k% Y( s8 I/ p! P•        Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
•        Comply with financial policies and regulations
•       Other ad hoc duties as assigned

Accountant Requirements:

•        bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field (Essential).
•        Minimum 5 years of Accounting work experience (Essential)
•        2 years of Cost Accounting work experience. (Asset)
•        Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.
1 \! E9 I% P& D, F•        Meticulous attention to detail with superb organizational skills.
•        Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
•        Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
& e+ M2 V9 z. s$ Y( @•        Excellent report-writing, communication, and IT skills as an Asset.
