CAC recycling is a metal recycling facility that provides on and off site processing to oil field and local businesses. We are currently seeking a self-motivated individual to fill our open  Accountant within our growing team.

5 i! Y% j* M! Q9 |Responsibilities:
+ J+ z0 c' |% e9 `# I2 g•        Manage all accounting transactions
•        Publish financial statements in time
( i' f, i" a8 c7 a+ }7 A•        Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
4 K0 M* C- v+ _. d. d1 j# l! @4 W•        Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
! U/ r) q5 i6 Z% W8 d* F/ [, `•        Ensure timely bank payments
9 d" K9 g2 ]% M' ]  l7 r! H, ~•        Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
•        Maintain accounting system, documents, and records of the organization.
•        Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
4 x0 |) A8 ~  I5 G•        Comply with financial policies and regulations
+ k/ }; \. L$ D; f, V' n$ P# o•       Other ad hoc duties as assigned

Accountant Requirements:
7 i  w! I/ [# a" v0 }
- d) k8 B9 q: X+ K3 V•        bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field (Essential).
•        Minimum 5 years of Accounting work experience (Essential)
•        2 years of Cost Accounting work experience. (Asset)
•        Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.
•        Meticulous attention to detail with superb organizational skills.
•        Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
& m3 p, ?/ R% Y6 w; d: x' g. D•        Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
. ]/ ?$ I0 e; E! `' ]/ _" Y•        Excellent report-writing, communication, and IT skills as an Asset.

Salary: 50K--60k dependent on experience.
