This position is an important role in the company where the successful candidate will lead the strategic sourcing of all required products and services.

9 G: x0 S( |" \# B. dThe procurement officer is responsible for:
-        Identifying and serving the needs of each business department
6 Q+ ?, ^' e( H. B. X% l9 B-        Sourcing and evaluating local, national or international suppliers
-        Negotiating terms, conditions and contracts
) N7 g! z/ M  p. H" s0 t) C-        Building and managing supplier relationships
-        Performing cost savings and profit margin analyses

/ t$ b& H3 {- J  eRequirements:
; v! N. o2 |" _, f- Sound research skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
2 E' {6 x& `1 f6 K0 n- Strong organization and time management skills
! g1 O9 d/ Z8 W: w2 o- Friendly and outgoing personality
& S$ b' b9 t- [& k- Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
3 {" O: L* Q% R: K6 R- Cycle counting and adjusting experience preferred  
- Experience with mechanical parts, welding materials, PPE and consumables for the construction industry is an asset
. K( J1 E: X6 l/ P9 U- Experience with Inventory control is an asset
