% y, Q3 t1 r0 L1 I. k; MThis position is an important role in the company where the successful candidate will lead the strategic sourcing of all required products and services.

0 ~' Z4 h0 V6 N  n, xThe procurement officer is responsible for:
-        Identifying and serving the needs of each business department
-        Sourcing and evaluating local, national or international suppliers
, `6 U, A/ ]3 Y* s-        Negotiating terms, conditions and contracts
2 K2 q8 z) n" \/ d$ _2 s, W-        Building and managing supplier relationships
-        Performing cost savings and profit margin analyses

: l$ D/ l( q) @% MRequirements:
- Sound research skills
: E$ K- j/ K* I) ~$ R" S- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
8 `+ d% [. O3 X; V, \" K- Strong organization and time management skills
4 W5 A$ j+ h+ ]; [+ g5 j  C- Friendly and outgoing personality
- Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
; p. |# C7 r1 ?, S( h- Cycle counting and adjusting experience preferred  
) q# h. x$ W/ q8 ], o- Experience with mechanical parts, welding materials, PPE and consumables for the construction industry is an asset
- Experience with Inventory control is an asset
