Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications:
-Completion of a post-secondary education
-Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct and Practices Handbook Examination (CPH) or registered with the IIROC
-Completion of/in the process of completing the Derivatives Fundamentals and Options Licensing Course (DFOL)
: N2 x# d: l8 e; ^) c-Working knowledge of the fundamentals/techniques of equity, fixed income, option, and mutual fund trading, and the applicable rules & regulations sufficient to trade securities for the public
-Working knowledge of the marketplace, including current conditions & trends in the Canadian & US stock and bond markets
) E4 @, }% Z+ O% I% Q+ {1 |1 w-Well-developed organization and prioritization skills, with proven ability to juggle multiple tasks within a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.
2 a7 Z! }; O- R6 x0 y-Demonstrated tact and diplomacy
-Demonstrated high-level customer service-oriented approach.
: I' [% D4 K* l  a: u4 z& m7 ]  o-Willingness to work flexible, extended hours and weekends as required
0 t% F6 y7 x! M  p) Y' w  V3 K& m-Previous experience working directly in a highly client-driven environment, typically acquired with at least 6-12 months experience in a call center environment
-Sales Experience is an asset
-Fluent in English and Cantonese
) c; p0 m- j& {0 `8 L: p-Second business language skills in French, and/or Mandarin are an asset
