As a Shift Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the Reclamation and Pond Operations facilities on a shift basis. Other job duties include:

0 H2 f1 K/ i0 f1 n4 ?, y- Supervising Shift personnel to ensure reclamation operating targets are achieved. 1 n6 |3 Q p) ], z# R+ m
- Developing and implementing programs focused on the optimization and continuous improvement of the operating plants. + F, ?2 U7 O2 W0 u# H2 r9 _' m3 @( x
- Ensuring effective on-shift training and progression qualification for operators.
5 l$ a$ I8 N% v7 ?; o0 x- Developing and revising applicable standards and procedures. 6 r; \, Y/ h3 R2 ~ L! i+ w
- Ensuring a structured approach to managing safety performance and environmental diligence.
N3 |! Y! T/ \1 G- Ensuring effective communications within the Reclamation Operating Group as well as with other departments, and with other operating groups (Extraction). ' B0 q, \# S6 D. V& Z& p9 I
- Managing shift expense budgets.

Experience and Education Requirements
% N) R4 i( l; l( B6 c# u+ S! i g# R: ], a# l8 ^. X+ A+ G8 z2 O
- Previous supervisory experience
3 W0 {0 c! h* [8 R( m/ O, J- Strong leadership skills ( S5 F. f, R9 A U
- A minimum of grade 12 diploma
+ `6 a3 v# K0 A, W- High motivation with good interpersonal, communication, planning and organizational skills & a: P5 q, i" M5 V
- Several years experience related to large materials processing plant or dredging operations 4 g* K: i: e$ ?- _9 }. E( r. `
- A good working knowledge of OH & S regulations and thorough understanding of Loss Management techniques.: V( {7 y6 @& C: j: U
