As a Shift Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the Reclamation and Pond Operations facilities on a shift basis. Other job duties include:

2 Z1 S( }7 s& s5 ^# j5 Y- Supervising Shift personnel to ensure reclamation operating targets are achieved. 3 ?: e( F$ Y7 X5 d" Z4 i2 D; W/ r% L
- Developing and implementing programs focused on the optimization and continuous improvement of the operating plants. ; V E, n" C) M7 |5 r
- Ensuring effective on-shift training and progression qualification for operators. 8 ^! K- ^+ M$ j0 V- h
- Developing and revising applicable standards and procedures. 3 ^4 e: c* l3 l" [* |, A4 k
- Ensuring a structured approach to managing safety performance and environmental diligence.
$ Q( o4 j2 X/ X- Ensuring effective communications within the Reclamation Operating Group as well as with other departments, and with other operating groups (Extraction). ! i2 S! t6 e- c0 L! ?! o& r7 g
- Managing shift expense budgets.

- Previous supervisory experience
0 S* \& B! i- b, ]1 V- Strong leadership skills
/ C- g- C+ e. B- A minimum of grade 12 diploma
9 a& u$ I$ B# O$ P/ R- High motivation with good interpersonal, communication, planning and organizational skills
# s0 n4 f+ f% J5 P% t8 [- Several years experience related to large materials processing plant or dredging operations
' c, w/ |' t4 C! \4 k- A good working knowledge of OH & S regulations and thorough understanding of Loss Management techniques.+ _' t: K- `. C9 O( k F" w" O
