As a Shift Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the Reclamation and Pond Operations facilities on a shift basis. Other job duties include:1 T- |2 L6 ^* o4 V8 N- g/ L+ y

- Supervising Shift personnel to ensure reclamation operating targets are achieved.
. A) U: F' e* n+ k- Developing and implementing programs focused on the optimization and continuous improvement of the operating plants.
* x |, o6 ^8 ] Q# B9 {- Ensuring effective on-shift training and progression qualification for operators. ' [& _* `4 q) [) ^4 k3 P% d' n4 U
- Developing and revising applicable standards and procedures.
9 O: I: k) j& S, S( l" Y; z- Ensuring a structured approach to managing safety performance and environmental diligence.
# u9 a9 W% ~4 U- \- Ensuring effective communications within the Reclamation Operating Group as well as with other departments, and with other operating groups (Extraction). # Q; f& n) a1 y. x+ v# f1 k9 W

- Previous supervisory experience
# s5 w. { Q4 ]- Strong leadership skills
- {. @* _- m, @" Z: l, Y4 e- A minimum of grade 12 diploma + `( C" I; D+ a+ N! x. @5 [
- High motivation with good interpersonal, communication, planning and organizational skills
9 }, a5 q4 I0 |( b: @ F- }2 _- Several years experience related to large materials processing plant or dredging operations
9 l% j$ z8 Q" u+ v6 n- A good working knowledge of OH & S regulations and thorough understanding of Loss Management techniques.$ g/ p0 l: C6 D& R" M
