4 `# x6 n5 s7 s' w! [As a Shift Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the Reclamation and Pond Operations facilities on a shift basis. Other job duties include:6 q5 H, I( g, }6 k3 _

- Supervising Shift personnel to ensure reclamation operating targets are achieved.
7 d, I2 l4 c9 a( k: H" U- Developing and implementing programs focused on the optimization and continuous improvement of the operating plants. 7 h. C7 P' k, ~
- Ensuring effective on-shift training and progression qualification for operators.
- U; A0 n7 A* [4 P* x6 V; X @2 L- Developing and revising applicable standards and procedures.
% o7 w. D; L: S9 x2 L3 K4 W9 W- v- Ensuring a structured approach to managing safety performance and environmental diligence.
8 R% N% R2 M8 L# h1 {/ E! c: n- Ensuring effective communications within the Reclamation Operating Group as well as with other departments, and with other operating groups (Extraction).

- Previous supervisory experience ( N6 l0 g! S. L. R
- Strong leadership skills
! ^4 d; O9 ]9 ?1 E( n- A minimum of grade 12 diploma
4 n3 h! N/ @# n: U9 f1 J% A- High motivation with good interpersonal, communication, planning and organizational skills 8 L# L$ }4 d. s" l
- Several years experience related to large materials processing plant or dredging operations
' K2 k; k, x( g( p, Q. U- A good working knowledge of OH & S regulations and thorough understanding of Loss Management techniques.
