1955: Westmount Shoppers' Park opens with 40 stores, 3,000 parking spaces at a cost of $5 million. Woodward's anchors Edmonton's first shopping centre.

2000: New owner Dundee Developments spends $30 million on facelift. Safeway moves to the mall's south end, and Zellers enlarges its store. Renovation separates the anchors in an effort to draw traffic past a new ice rink and food court. Slogan "New Cool" used to attract shoppers.

MARCH 15, 2007: First Capital Realty Inc. pays $70 million for Westmount Shopping Centre and plans to demolish part of the shopping centre between Zellers and Shoppers Drug Mart and build a $21-million Home Depot.

平均小于200万/店。按照6%的年收益率来计算。一年的租金小于12万，一个月1万。店如果小的话，7，8千每月可以搞定。不贵。
但还是很challenging. 一天的租金在250快。如果毛利是25%的话，那一天的营业额要到1000快。如果毛利很高，但货品价值不高，比如中国的首饰品等，那么一件十个刀，一天要卖掉25件，一个小时要走2件货。还是很challenging.
