To become a probationary driver you must:

Pass the standard Alberta Class 5 road test.- n( m7 s$ l* y( k

Probationary Conditions：& q- n( B/ |- R# ^ e; U* n
! M' c; y% P$ a' F1 u2 ?/ L1。ust spend a minimum of two years as a probationary driver.
0 ]1 G0 } E6 d" k. e1 C2。No more passengers than seat belts.
5 g, d/ N1 y5 [# p5 ~3。Fewer demerit points (8) are allowed than for fully licensed drivers (15).
- ^+ z6 T, F$ v1 }; ?4。Have a zero alcohol level.
9 f: v/ w; K, ]& d8 y4 o5。No upgrading to a commercial licence (Classes 1, 2, 3, or 4).
