RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THIS POSITION:
• Provide tier 2-3 support for network issues for technologies such as but not limited to:
+ r& ~) `: R2 H* h   o Microsoft Windows NT 4.0, 2000, XP, 2003
3 n5 S5 I3 ?6 C4 a8 O7 S  H5 m, \# ]) K   o Microsoft Exchange 5.5, 2000, 2003
   o Microsoft SQL Server 7, 2000
0 b' d- F) r3 V0 m4 N   o Microsoft SMS 2, 2003
   o Microsoft Operations Manager
0 W* B  F; H* @" |+ k   o VMWare Virtual Server solutions
   o Linux based operating systems
2 t4 o3 U$ A/ i) ?0 e% `: _; Z3 d$ ]   o Sun Solaris operating systems
   o Advanced level and hands-on knowledge of Cisco IOS, VoIP, and security knowledge and configuration experience
• Provide network solutions and recommendations to customer inquires regarding Anti-Virus, Email & Collaboration, Network Security, Migration Strategy, Disaster Recovery…etc.
# Q" n9 M8 D8 @• Proper and detailed documentation of all support and project related calls
• Administration, architecting, and technical support experience on the Microsoft Windows
platform, Microsoft Exchange 5.5 – 2003 platform, Citrix Metaframe platform, Microsoft
% K: B8 R! `0 [. h: fSMS platform, Microsoft IIS platform, Microsoft DNS and Microsoft Active Directory…etc.
0 ~! _, R  @; m  C) {& |• Advanced Cisco routing and switching and/or firewall configurations

* ]6 ?8 p) t: `" I  h2 ]SKILL REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION:
• 5 – 8 years hands-on IT experience
( @# g, B3 V. W+ j0 S• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
# l3 K+ V  k  v% e3 U& A" M• Excellent organization skills with detail AND accuracy
" K# a8 x$ @7 G9 Z• Excellent documentation skills with detail AND accuracy
' T. V8 @8 w/ Z1 \# @• Certification should include some or all of the following:
8 S, t7 x; Z' g* A& D7 D( ^   o Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP)
   o Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
   o Cisco Certified Internetworking Professional (CCIP)

$ e0 Y+ ?) x2 ~   o Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (Windows 2000 or Windows 2003)
   o Citrix Certified Enterprise Administrator (CCEA)

• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple medium sized projects
• Ability to understand and deliver high quality customer service
! m# G! [- \) k& J( U• Advanced TCP/IP and internetworking protocol knowledge
• Experience in IT operations and an actively contributing team member in project based work
• Advanced technical and hands-on expertise in Microsoft Windows-based migration projects in 800-1500 seat size of multiple domain, sites, and active directory.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Group Policy, DFS, Windows Security, Virtual Server, SharePoint Server, Exchange Server 5.5, 2000, and 2005
& T3 ^1 U- E9 x• Have 4+ years of network design experience
• Have led medium to large sized projects
; S/ r# K+ a5 ]% A• A valid Alberta driver’s license is mandatory
