POSITION HOURS: 8AM – 5PM
EDUCATION: HIGH SCHOOL AND/OR POST SECONDARY
LOCATION: EDMONTON, ALBERTA, CANADA

SALARY RANGE: Compensation will be commensurate with experience, but overall compensation will be results-based and goal-oriented.

RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THIS POSITION:
• Provide tier 2-3 support for network issues for technologies such as but not limited to:
" [) @8 O9 _0 b- o   o Microsoft Windows NT 4.0, 2000, XP, 2003
   o Microsoft Exchange 5.5, 2000, 2003
   o Microsoft SQL Server 7, 2000
+ ]: }) q/ {+ M( N+ C   o Microsoft SMS 2, 2003
5 q6 |7 ~4 j6 ?) y9 x   o Microsoft Operations Manager
   o VMWare Virtual Server solutions
   o Linux based operating systems
- D- b' o1 ^$ w: Y8 d; s! B   o Sun Solaris operating systems
0 ^5 I3 P( ?# c8 }/ _3 o* j   o Advanced level and hands-on knowledge of Cisco IOS, VoIP, and security knowledge and configuration experience
' ?' e' `& D+ F- S• Provide network solutions and recommendations to customer inquires regarding Anti-Virus, Email & Collaboration, Network Security, Migration Strategy, Disaster Recovery…etc.
• Proper and detailed documentation of all support and project related calls
• Administration, architecting, and technical support experience on the Microsoft Windows
platform, Microsoft Exchange 5.5 – 2003 platform, Citrix Metaframe platform, Microsoft
SMS platform, Microsoft IIS platform, Microsoft DNS and Microsoft Active Directory…etc.
• Advanced Cisco routing and switching and/or firewall configurations

2 L7 \) X. P; u; C4 PSKILL REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION:
• 5 – 8 years hands-on IT experience
3 y' K2 \" e( p• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Excellent organization skills with detail AND accuracy
• Excellent documentation skills with detail AND accuracy

   o Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP)

$ Q" Z5 h& D& t1 d2 x2 i: e   o Cisco Certified Internetworking Professional (CCIP)

" K. g3 ?0 N! y+ z; }   o Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (Windows 2000 or Windows 2003)
   o Citrix Certified Enterprise Administrator (CCEA)
   o Any other professional certification designations are a bonus

7 Q0 C- a6 t9 I$ O8 Z- F% x3 R• Experience in IT operations and an actively contributing team member in project based work
• Advanced technical and hands-on expertise in Microsoft Windows-based migration projects in 800-1500 seat size of multiple domain, sites, and active directory.
" F8 K3 @9 v) r; i& K' s• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Group Policy, DFS, Windows Security, Virtual Server, SharePoint Server, Exchange Server 5.5, 2000, and 2005
• Have 4+ years of network design experience
• Have led medium to large sized projects
• A valid Alberta driver’s license is mandatory
• Clean enhanced criminal record abstract
