LOCATION: EDMONTON, ALBERTA, CANADA

; w. V, ~0 D. l" v6 f- ySALARY RANGE: Compensation will be commensurate with experience, but overall compensation will be results-based and goal-oriented.

RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THIS POSITION:
• Provide tier 2-3 support for network issues for technologies such as but not limited to:
   o Microsoft Windows NT 4.0, 2000, XP, 2003
   o Microsoft Exchange 5.5, 2000, 2003

   o Microsoft Operations Manager
   o VMWare Virtual Server solutions

# H' }) U# e4 P8 Z( @8 e# B* H   o Sun Solaris operating systems
   o Advanced level and hands-on knowledge of Cisco IOS, VoIP, and security knowledge and configuration experience
• Provide network solutions and recommendations to customer inquires regarding Anti-Virus, Email & Collaboration, Network Security, Migration Strategy, Disaster Recovery…etc.
; l' M+ W) ~' G• Proper and detailed documentation of all support and project related calls
$ A6 I* w* {# q• Administration, architecting, and technical support experience on the Microsoft Windows
( T: I& [- s3 C( g- Z8 }2 R2 J! O* Wplatform, Microsoft Exchange 5.5 – 2003 platform, Citrix Metaframe platform, Microsoft
: \- M" J4 w! ]$ D+ bSMS platform, Microsoft IIS platform, Microsoft DNS and Microsoft Active Directory…etc.
# O3 z. h) d3 R! t& Q) e• Advanced Cisco routing and switching and/or firewall configurations

SKILL REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION:
• 5 – 8 years hands-on IT experience
• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Excellent organization skills with detail AND accuracy
• Excellent documentation skills with detail AND accuracy
• Certification should include some or all of the following:
3 B" `- D$ V/ h, k8 }   o Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP)
   o Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
0 h- }" U+ o! W4 Q  z2 C" C   o Cisco Certified Internetworking Professional (CCIP)
" \3 }3 Q# L5 O( w9 A   o Cisco Certified Security Professional (CCSP)
  S7 ?- w( `9 Q  x   o Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (Windows 2000 or Windows 2003)
   o Citrix Certified Enterprise Administrator (CCEA)
" [0 t6 b% r& u6 j5 v2 I8 X' Q   o Any other professional certification designations are a bonus
8 w9 W* b' R3 F& I• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple medium sized projects
• Ability to understand and deliver high quality customer service
% v  X- Q0 T1 n3 V9 J; G• Advanced TCP/IP and internetworking protocol knowledge
• Experience in IT operations and an actively contributing team member in project based work
' V7 o$ {  U- R% Q# U• Advanced technical and hands-on expertise in Microsoft Windows-based migration projects in 800-1500 seat size of multiple domain, sites, and active directory.
- H, A8 }2 k5 Z6 U* y" p% `• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Group Policy, DFS, Windows Security, Virtual Server, SharePoint Server, Exchange Server 5.5, 2000, and 2005
1 c9 L5 O+ P1 \. s7 ]5 |• Have 4+ years of network design experience
