Today I was volunteering at a post office. A man in an old jacket with uncombed hair came to the counter. He had a wallet in his hand, and put it on the counter. He told me:

I did not understand what he meant by "it", because usually people would send a letter or a parcel back to the sender, and I did not see he had any of those. So I asked him:
; A6 F2 F! i( ?8 u+ T "I am sorry, what are you sending back?"
, ]# p. W0 h1 R5 O/ g0 wHe said, "the Wallet, I am sending back the wallet." Then he added: "I am going to pay the postage."
$ k! k& u9 I, U5 K. t) i" r2 g0 M"Oh, you found a wallet, and you are going to send it back to the person who lost it?"
$ ^% c; t; I; V"Yes, I did."
3 E9 K/ m& u1 j* M( PFinally I understood: this dishevelled man found a wallet, and he was going to return it to the owner by post.
% l% t5 q9 O; p$ z0 i DHe took the ID card from the wallet, and showed me the address of the loser of the wallet. I saw there were several one-hundred bills in the wallet. 4 S2 z( l( A3 j0 E) n
"Are you going to take some money from the wallet to pay the postage?"
4 x0 S# ^; d5 _' F+ Q"No, I am not. I do not do those things."
. H% h9 \! V( x. W. U& }He took out his wallet, which was nearly worn-out, small, and almost empty. There were some coins inside. 5 B, f% Z8 D2 S! R. K0 Z
I gave him a bubbled envelope, and instructed him where to write the addresses. He wrote the owner's address, but stopped at writing a return address. He asked:' l' R& ]2 Q5 O# Z4 X+ @ ^
"Is it okay that I do not write this part?"
* H7 g. h9 D& G2 o( s* X- p! Q"Yes, you may." I thought he must want to be a nameless hero. But he said: u6 |4 r7 m! q) h/ Z* t
"I do not have an address."9 y+ t: g6 R; w* i
I was surprised: "oh, where do you live?"
" I# O3 N8 ^, \, E0 D3 R/ S. Z' l" |He did not look up, and said: "I do not have a home."
) W0 x0 ^8 C; s8 y" Y( {7 W& m9 HMy heart had a sudden jump. I realized that this is a homeless man who found money but was sending it back to the person who lost it.
" ?3 F4 c/ n0 [: K$ U7 CHe did not a posses a home, but he had a big heart. He had the precious fortune of being a man of integrity. 4 d" E# {4 j" `$ T' m7 ~* T
