We are looking for a part time Accountant who can represent our firm by communicating with our clients while performing general accounting duties. You will develop your skills by working on a wide range of assignments. The main tasks will include but not limited to the following: / A& X( F y* Z! M6 J! l) s
• Perform Full cycle bookkeeping duties (AP, AR, Bank reconciliations, etc.) ' m. ?9 _" S- B: e3 i
• Prepare CaseWare working paper files,
`1 @. q: `5 R; D1 o# x' r( r* X) v• Prepare financial statements + f( x4 p6 Y( z0 A0 [8 r+ E9 Q
• Prepare corporate tax returns
) x2 v T* W K; f+ S. J8 c/ k• File GST returns * ~) E6 U8 I3 b2 u
• Process payroll9 v* _: Z1 D) k8 J/ ~- @8 `0 O
• File T4/T5 returns + C) }( @- D% H ]' x2 J& I1 V
• Prepare personal tax returns 0 c$ Y/ |+ c# u r4 c
• Communication with our clients and government agencies

6 W- ?' f# c* A( G) ^2 X. vThe position requires prior public practice accounting experience, proficiency in Caseware, profile, Quickbooks, Sage 50, and Excel. ( A) w j4 b9 u" o

Consideration will be given to the candidate who possess strong organization skills, have the ability to multi-task, and meet deadlines under pressure. Designation is preferred but not required.7 [' n) c; W$ E" ~. F8 E0 z
