Plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities
Modify menus or create new ones that meet quality standards
Estimate food requirements and food/labor costs
Supervise kitchen staff’s activities
Arrange for equipment purchases and repairs
& X+ l1 S# l% a- l5 p  d0 L5 {Recruit and manage kitchen staff
& H$ R0 W, h/ J- R* \Rectify arising problems or complaints
  c) K  G. y* C5 y7 zGive prepared plates the “final touch”
2 j" j1 S" }8 R: }Perform administrative duties
. P' H  \3 B  m/ u/ eComply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
5 s, v# X- F6 S9 Q; Q6 `Keep time and payroll records
Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
What the company will expect from you:

Proven working experience as a head chef
Excellent record of kitchen management

Communication and leadership skills
Keep up with cooking trends and best practices
Working knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS)
BS degree in Culinary science or related certificate
