Job Description:

' }% ?7 l, y! f' m* O7 MPlan and direct food preparation and culinary activities
1 k0 t8 R/ E& j- uModify menus or create new ones that meet quality standards
! Z5 b! h/ r0 [) NEstimate food requirements and food/labor costs
Supervise kitchen staff’s activities
3 i. ]7 w/ \7 c" JArrange for equipment purchases and repairs
Recruit and manage kitchen staff
Rectify arising problems or complaints
Give prepared plates the “final touch”
Perform administrative duties
Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
Keep time and payroll records

Proven working experience as a head chef
Excellent record of kitchen management

Capable of delegating multiple tasks

7 X1 ?, @0 m3 FKeep up with cooking trends and best practices
Working knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS)
BS degree in Culinary science or related certificate
