No one was injured after a brush fire tore through a section of Edmonton's river valley on Friday night.7 H) x, s5 h# l" M3 J% |# b* Q1 c) Z
The fire started around 11 p.m. near the Wolf Willow and Rio Terrace neighbourhoods in the west end of the city. 8 ~% O) l+ q2 ^$ H
Edmonton Fire Rescue spokeswoman Sarah Meffen said 17 fire trucks were called to fight the fire. It was declared under control at 1:20 a.m., and was officially out at 3:20 a.m.
