We are currently seeking detail oriented person based in Edmonton to fill the role of Junior Accountant.

• Answering to the Company Controller, the candidate will assist with invoicing, payables, cash receipts and disbursements, account reconciliation, and G/L entries.: `# E. h' G0 m" |% x \
• Candidate will also be responsible for filing, verifying vendor invoices, and various reporting tasks as required.$ `- d. p, S9 c7 e8 x! m
• Candidate will communicate between various departments, including sales, logistics and production to ensure that operations are running as cost-effectively as possible

• Minimum 1-year of experience in Accounting or Accounts Receivable/Payable role/ w$ ^: t' V- x" a
• Post-secondary degree or diploma in an Accounting or Finance related field of study0 Q' I9 w: b2 }$ ~- g
• Aggressive self-starter with excellent organizational and time-management skills

• Strong computer skills (word processing, spreadsheets, e-mail, data entry)% ]) p. p5 k9 ]1 e
