We are currently seeking detail oriented person based in Edmonton to fill the role of Junior Accountant.

POSITION: Junior Accountant

• Answering to the Company Controller, the candidate will assist with invoicing, payables, cash receipts and disbursements, account reconciliation, and G/L entries.
. R3 f4 A" _# j# m* [• Candidate will also be responsible for filing, verifying vendor invoices, and various reporting tasks as required., k$ b. s8 J4 b$ ~+ G& g, z: L! O
• Candidate will communicate between various departments, including sales, logistics and production to ensure that operations are running as cost-effectively as possible
: A8 w0 j# P" m _9 F) X9 }: v( a) [• Various administrative and order processing duties as required.

REQUIREMENTS:- a8 O3 g+ u- ?; @: F% @
( j. ]' K4 n' M8 i1 W9 r• Minimum 1-year of experience in Accounting or Accounts Receivable/Payable role
& P# y7 M# t" N• Post-secondary degree or diploma in an Accounting or Finance related field of study' e3 c2 d0 y. E
• Aggressive self-starter with excellent organizational and time-management skills
. d, ]* q8 g/ q( s+ c. v: x• Must be highly detail oriented with strong grasp of numbers
* ~; i3 [; L* E9 E" H' [+ S• Strong computer skills (word processing, spreadsheets, e-mail, data entry)
