- b' w! I. _9 j; ^EDMONTON — The West Edmonton Mall has reopened after police investigated a suspicious package Tuesday morning.

The item, which turned out to be a DVD player, was reported to police just after 8:30 a.m. and officers swooped in to shut down entrances to the shopping centre.6 N( A+ r& h$ D: ~: |. I0 l6 e; [( h

Police evacuated the mall, and a short time later determined the package was merely a DVD player left on a bench outside the SportCheck store.
