6.Recently, Dr. Edward Fujimoto, Wellness Program Manager at Castle Hospital,
2 n% F0 D1 Z7 K9 \- D% hwas on a TV program to explain this health hazard. He talked about dioxins
* }3 _2 [* z' r# r4 Dand how bad they are for us.

plastic containers. This applies to foods that contain fat. He said that the
combination of fat, high heat, and plastics releases dioxin into the food
. Q" T# p+ n( g6 i2 jand ultimately into the cells of the body.
1 J5 r! Z- G% Y! C4 t0 v他說我們不應該，以塑膠容器裝食物，用微波爐來加熱。此法則也適用於含脂肪的食物，他說脂肪、高熱與塑膠之綜合，會釋出戴奧辛進入食物中，最後則進入人體細胞內。

; M1 A: f- R  J. V8.Instead, he recommends using glass, Corning Ware or ceramic containers for
heating food. You get the same results, only without the dioxin.
So such things as TV dinners, instant ramen and soups, etc., should be
removed from the container and heated in something else. Paper isn't bad
$ c, e6 X7 w, R; b+ tbut you don't know what is in the paper. It's just safer to use tempered
glass, Corning Ware, etc.
- w6 g# q) Q4 i$ O: h他建議給食物加熱時，要用玻璃、康寧鍋或陶瓷容器來裝。你得到的結果是一樣的，只是沒了戴奧辛。所以類似電視速食餐、生力麵、速食湯等，需將內容物取出，放入其它容器，再行加熱。紙器並不壞，但是你也不知道，其中含有什麼。使用處理過的玻璃、康寧鍋等，還是安全一些。

6 Z7 `) I/ ^# j3 a% d& r9 jfrom the foam containers to paper. The dioxin problem is one of the reasons.

10.Also, he pointed out that Saran wrap is just as dangerous when placed over
- N; I4 z$ I0 `, nfoods to be cooked in the microwave. As the food is nuked, the high heat
& f! L3 U& Y) A. K  b4 J! w7 }causes poisonous toxins to actually melt out of the plastic wrap and drip
* v3 d& f, ~9 ?4 x$ Vinto the food.
