Edmonton home builders say they are working non-stop to meet a demand they haven’t seen since the boom of 2005.9 E. p4 W, q/ {0 F5 ?0 Q4 h' M4 ]

The increased demand is due to strong job and population growth, according to Christina Butchart, senior analyst with the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation. q( s4 j+ B/ H3 X) ]0 U. r# p( N# s

“If you look at the number of people who are moving into Edmonton, it’s record high levels so that’s contributing to that expanding demand,” she said./ T* y: u7 M$ D. t0 v
