   Glass Worker – (Manufacturing Plant 1, Edmonton)

Operations include manufacturing plants located in Edmonton and Mississauga and sales branches/offices in Vancouver, Kelowna, Edmonton, Calgary, Lethbridge, Red Deer, Saskatoon, Regina, Winnipeg, Mississauga and Atlantic Canada.

! V) _2 ]# {2 ^& S9 ] We are currently recruiting for Glass Workers for our Edmonton Manufacturing Plant.

The successful candidate will be reliable, safety-focused and able to work well with others.

9 U; E8 e$ q9 L  V" oResponsibilities will include:
•Lift single piece of glass between 5-30 Ibs.
# t. r( z# P3 Q' V* l•Understand quality issues of glass: quality of glass edge, proper technique when pulling glass out of harp rack slots, scratches, defects, etc.
/ O4 `$ x+ F# q/ B. l. b0 Z% X6 i•Fill and empty washer tanks and keep tanks clean
' s# \# k4 t9 `3 C8 b0 K. A•Follow proper pattern and placement of glass
•Keep work area clean.
•Keep up good pace to keep line moving.

•Basic English communication skills
* q" a9 E& g  N3 i•Able to read a metric tape measure and use hand and power tools

& f3 I1 `1 O. L8 R- V: m) m•Ability to work under constant pressure

•Must be a good team player and able to work in a fast-paced environment

•Offload sealed units from GED Oven press
•Check Units to pass Quality Expectation

•Patch units
" l% E* b7 ^* h9 Q•Hot melt super spacer units
  b" i" s0 A& _$ o1 D# s4 J•Move Racks of sealed units to designated lines

Primary Qualifications Required:
