Hours of Work: 17.5 hours per week
2 `8 O, E( A0 D6 Y, Q1 x5 wKey Responsibilities
3 q, n5 }! Q  w; W: ?-community development, liaison with mainstream agencies to provide services for Chinese community
9 D: u8 T- S+ ?0 J- _# P4 `7 C-workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population access to mainstream services
6 E" {2 G4 R3 R; o-fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of social services
-develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies
-coordinate and send out quarterly newsletter to members
-assist in special events coordinating: Open House, AGM, Volunteer Appreciation, etc.
-participate in ISP department and agency meetings/activities
+ _" L, b/ d; K( n$ j-demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre
5 F% q( H" H2 q4 w-participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services
% x2 V% P+ y. b# Q  e' R-write quarterly and final reports for ISP
-assist with Centre’s other activities or programs as prescribed from time to time
-update membership database
-work flexible hours (including evenings, weekends as required)

1 ]& Z8 k2 m0 ?* f- q5 mQualifications
- O3 b7 _9 |: Q1 c-degree in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of experience and education
" o. U! z/ X6 ]-good oral and written Chinese and English skills
-experience in community work and immigrant services

Security check (at the expense of employee) and child welfare check
