A heating and ventilation permit is required when installing or altering heating and ventilation equipment.

' w( X& \9 R& V" UA heating and ventilation permit is required under the Safety Codes Permit Bylaw when installing or altering heating and ventilation equipment such as:

HVAC systems,
8 a! k8 E5 L8 u) @; ~' Umake-up air units,
5 C: t  r7 ~9 b2 d. gboilers,
hydronic (hot water) systems,
kitchen exhaust,
heat recovery ventilators,

Renovations/Replacements/Alterations to Existing Systems
Heating and ventilation permit is $100/address or unit plus the Safety Code fee of $4.50/address or unit

但是这里办事都是按规矩做， 没人诚心要为难你。
