A heating and ventilation permit is required under the Safety Codes Permit Bylaw when installing or altering heating and ventilation equipment such as:

HVAC systems,
make-up air units,
( f3 A8 K5 V4 a- ^( q6 H+ [. _boilers,
hydronic (hot water) systems,
kitchen exhaust,
4 h( R7 @. q: K+ |+ dheat recovery ventilators,
ventilation systems.
