A heating and ventilation permit is required when installing or altering heating and ventilation equipment.

3 a) G1 N0 Q; q, J1 }: f( @A heating and ventilation permit is required under the Safety Codes Permit Bylaw when installing or altering heating and ventilation equipment such as:

make-up air units,
boilers,
hydronic (hot water) systems,
! q+ {3 n4 g+ Q# okitchen exhaust,
heat recovery ventilators,

Heating and ventilation permit is $100/address or unit plus the Safety Code fee of $4.50/address or unit
