When the option is included or purchased, exclusion 1 in the policy is modified such that, after any applicable waiting period, a stable chronic: N( x& g4 U5 q
condition (as defined) is covered under the policy.
“Stable Chronic Condition” means: a condition which is under treatment and which has been controlled by consistent use of medication prescribed by a “physician”; and5 Z1 a2 H# S1 j/ c1 V
• there have been no new symptoms or change in symptoms; and/or 6 o: w$ t+ R) }( s0 K• there has been no “hospitalization”or change in treatment, medication or dosage in the 180 days prior to the “effective date” of this policy.) `: A; m, L7 l q9 S. K0 W' S
If “your” “physician” has determined that “your” health condition has improved and changes “your” treatment or medication or its dosages due to “your” improved health condition, this does not constitute a change.
