Miranda三月份的育儿讲座

首先非常感谢大家对Miranda的支持。Miranda 决定在三月份开一个为期四个礼拜的育儿讲座。Miranda 会在第一个礼拜准备一些小吃/点心，之后的三个礼拜希望爸爸妈妈们能带点心来，当然也欢迎大家在第一个礼拜带来。这次Miranda举办这个讲座没请其他机构帮忙（除了提供场地），所以不会有托儿服务，希望大家尽量不要带小孩来。谢谢！

日期：3月9号，16号，23号和30号
地点：West Meadow Baptist church （9333-199st）
时间：12:00pm-2:00pm
免费，不用报名，请大家到时踊跃参加，这是非常难得的机会。

  v5 B% o( E6 s' j4 K6 B$ SEffective discipline for children 0-6 years of age

Class content:
Class I: 1. Understand your child (normal growth and development of each age group)
8 G0 f7 f* K  M7 u4 t3 ~            2. Understand yourself (let’s go back to our childhood)
3 p  [8 F# I' J( d, L            3. How our believes and culture play a big part in our parenting

/ N! z! B( _5 IClass II:  Effective discipline for this age group, how to do:
              -Be firm and be consistent
3 p4 o: M! _* |8 y( J              -Set routines,  set limits, set boundaries
9 v& y, }: }5 a" |* S  E              -Avoid stressful situations
8 |5 F0 z6 ?1 ^+ R              -Time out (give your child a Break)
& ~5 t4 d1 ^0 L( k
- q8 ]* d" O) U, s2 a" C# c* l, ^Class III: Continue with class II, how to do:
               -Create play areas (how to develop 4 or 5 play centers for education benefits)
( H0 V3 p4 o9 e! I4 t+ W               -Decrease/eliminate negative behavior, encourage positive behavior
: i9 U1 M; v" Y& s$ t7 ^+ w               - ‘I’  Message
               -Stay calm
               -Think like a child
              -Know when to give in

Class IV:  Continue with class III:
               -How to choose or create educational toys
               -Build family relationship (how mother’s roles and father’s roles affect children emotional   
                needs,  EQ etc. )

0 e. Q2 S+ j% q1 z; G+ _: l              -Build resilient children (what does it mean? And how?)

不好意思，这不是产前班，是育儿班，不会有hospital tour。等Miranda再开产前班的时候会有的。
