(MUGs) Program; you have been signed-up for the 2006-2007 school year. By
" E8 p6 b# ^1 V9 gattending both Orientation and MUGs, you will receive a great deal of 4 l; S5 Z* B3 D% M/ m( I
information that will make your transition to the University community - N% c% Z" ?% q3 S! U& A* ^' G4 L3 S
more successful.

Both days run on a similar schedule, from 9:30am to 6pm, with evening 2 O8 b2 _3 k8 O
activities planned for both days. Throughout the 2 days you will attend , Z# B0 J' z' s& H# j
a variety of sessions crucial to your success at the U of A. On Tuesday
. a' G8 |% V9 Bevening we host our highlight event, the President's Address, in

You will also meet your MUG Leader and the rest of your MUG group on
. `5 R# v7 O5 t1 TSeptember 4th, with whom you will spend the two days at Orientation 2006, 8 o6 e. q7 g- C h% Q& Y- S8 s( x
and then continue to meet with for the entire year.' `! {9 B. L$ ]" e {

Both MUGs and Orientation 2006 will provide many opportunities for you 8 e( v2 S3 S2 o9 H5 n
to get all of your questions answered and to meet other students from
& p* D2 F! C8 d% t: w6 tyour faculty. Among other things, you are scheduled to receive your , k6 q X% y( j" _7 q
ONECard on one of the two days of Orientation 2006. To be able to process
$ G Z! o. Q v4 N* Pyour ONECard, you will need to bring your acceptance letter and a piece ' X& q1 k, c6 ^7 ?/ P1 x
of government-issued photo ID. You will also need to bring your Campus
/ F s1 V; c- [/ a" y3 \2 _& uComputing ID (CCID), which was sent by e-mail from AICT (Academic
7 n; V/ n( \5 K/ h$ a/ l4 tInformation and Communications Technologies). Dress for the weather and ' h# b: _7 j: E+ L4 {! G
bring either money or food for up to four meals (lunch and dinner for the ! M; z- ]1 S/ C$ G
two days of Orientation)./ S& E% G! W0 i9 {+ b' x
