(MUGs) Program; you have been signed-up for the 2006-2007 school year. By 5 e! S0 f+ x" D" W5 A
attending both Orientation and MUGs, you will receive a great deal of # M, M5 x4 Q, H* u
information that will make your transition to the University community

% W5 `! d0 ^7 m1 y6 c# [look for the volunteers in bright colored t-shirts, as they have a wealth 4 L% O/ h1 y m

Both days run on a similar schedule, from 9:30am to 6pm, with evening
6 ]$ ^- h! @5 X, n/ n7 Cactivities planned for both days. Throughout the 2 days you will attend
7 @ i& K. ^. k1 {6 R% ua variety of sessions crucial to your success at the U of A. On Tuesday . V6 ^, ?) T/ M P% s
evening we host our highlight event, the President's Address, in
v6 k* ]" R% @% NHawrelak Park.

You will also meet your MUG Leader and the rest of your MUG group on
& ^! i/ s$ L# mSeptember 4th, with whom you will spend the two days at Orientation 2006, 9 C/ F* p6 m; f; C. s; g& ]
and then continue to meet with for the entire year.

3 A2 f) G( H- D) K& I8 `Both MUGs and Orientation 2006 will provide many opportunities for you ! E! b! g! s2 q
to get all of your questions answered and to meet other students from
% o. ^0 |$ k/ syour faculty. Among other things, you are scheduled to receive your ( o+ W+ o# {. f! x; s
ONECard on one of the two days of Orientation 2006. To be able to process N0 O1 v' G! ^ [2 V5 g7 E
your ONECard, you will need to bring your acceptance letter and a piece
, o T1 p, z* F+ F/ Uof government-issued photo ID. You will also need to bring your Campus
$ j5 m' X& f5 dComputing ID (CCID), which was sent by e-mail from AICT (Academic ' N a7 c8 J/ A' {- I [3 P6 f
Information and Communications Technologies). Dress for the weather and 4 w H* p: {; O0 L' B! s* s' g- R
bring either money or food for up to four meals (lunch and dinner for the
, P$ l. a3 u0 \3 vtwo days of Orientation).
