like to thank you for your interest in the My Undergraduate Groups ) a# G; q7 w5 W( p! Q8 v7 y
(MUGs) Program; you have been signed-up for the 2006-2007 school year. By

information that will make your transition to the University community & p/ w1 o/ V$ @- i

Orientation 2006 will be held on Monday, September 4th and Tuesday, 6 v+ c( Z0 Y _4 T2 w" e

of volunteers ready to help you when you get to campus. Specifically

of directional information.

" B/ z& w* o; Z6 _Both days run on a similar schedule, from 9:30am to 6pm, with evening X* ? x( c6 p# w
activities planned for both days. Throughout the 2 days you will attend " f" {7 c( I" x% H: O7 r& b
a variety of sessions crucial to your success at the U of A. On Tuesday
/ ~% Q" G5 T1 o! Sevening we host our highlight event, the President's Address, in ) H- J6 G t9 ~2 F% m+ @

You will also meet your MUG Leader and the rest of your MUG group on 5 ?# [8 k; @) t9 u7 ?
September 4th, with whom you will spend the two days at Orientation 2006,
5 I% c' L0 E5 m, z5 w, c: pand then continue to meet with for the entire year.

. }5 ?5 K& w7 U( {5 M3 [6 T) KBoth MUGs and Orientation 2006 will provide many opportunities for you ( r' a- ?' _6 w3 C6 g2 n& ~0 \
to get all of your questions answered and to meet other students from
0 Z) _" `9 m0 L: ?your faculty. Among other things, you are scheduled to receive your : i7 K9 w: s- Y
ONECard on one of the two days of Orientation 2006. To be able to process
" f- k0 u7 V5 |: _- g% ^ B- \your ONECard, you will need to bring your acceptance letter and a piece
9 e4 O* d2 x0 \% h7 N% j! J8 fof government-issued photo ID. You will also need to bring your Campus
7 {* j8 H4 U) F& ? AComputing ID (CCID), which was sent by e-mail from AICT (Academic
; ~# i6 D9 [' GInformation and Communications Technologies). Dress for the weather and
2 s5 h0 w d9 p3 Q7 B' {9 M" g. Dbring either money or food for up to four meals (lunch and dinner for the 1 f) d }! D. f. g
two days of Orientation).
