recall是什么意思？

我觉得recall就是汽车生产厂家把汽车召回重新处理和维修，但是具体怎样操作不是很清楚。
- @1 s! W) X9 X3 i9 N2 x1 |比如，2000年的Ford Focus有9个recalls，那么是不是市面上的2000年的Ford Focus车都经过了重新处理和维修啊，这9个安全隐患都消除了啊？
$ d  E% A" J0 q+ q2 c) w+ S会不会有的2000年的Ford Focus车没有经过处理和维修,还在路上跑啊？
