To provide front-line customer service of Personal Lines policies and taking responsibility for the retention and account development of existing clients, quoting and placing new business as required.

; L5 W9 ^2 v! n6 hPrimary Objective/Duties of position:

    Servicing on-going client needs, advising on insurance matters, conduct needs assessment, recommending solutions, answering inquiries, conduct care calls and process renewals
" I$ Q) i5 X  k$ d$ c7 J    Selling new policies/writing new business to existing or new clients, retaining existing book of business
    Quoting new business through outbound call initiatives, introductory letters and receiving walk-in clients
    Contacting Underwriters and Adjusters to discuss guidelines and policy
, f1 w# B9 w9 [& z: H    Preparing documentation for insurers, completing applications for clients, issuing insurance certificates, processing changes and reviewing renewals
    Keeping current on underwriting rules and workflow processes
    Actively participate in training initiatives
# ^, x* }( V# O: q/ E* r    Participate in community marketing initiatives

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

2 M" t% @# b8 {, N& ]/ F    High School and or Post Secondary Education
) N7 O! h( B; _    Previous customer service experience
' J7 G8 @7 z( x6 W  c. X    Previous sales experience an asset
    General Insurance License Level 1 or willing to obtain
6 E( y) Z9 Y. N8 A8 B! l$ l# B( A6 z    Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities successfully
3 `; B9 t3 G9 G" E& W    Strong analytical and organizational skills
$ C; J  |* d! [! a- B6 I7 c* v, m    Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    Excellent customer services skills and adept in conflict resolution
