Primary Objective/Duties of position:

' B- L5 |5 N. f L5 O, [- D Servicing on-going client needs, advising on insurance matters, conduct needs assessment, recommending solutions, answering inquiries, conduct care calls and process renewals
: P I( P8 J7 L( {" r Selling new policies/writing new business to existing or new clients, retaining existing book of business" ?: l: D% ^0 m8 J! j9 G
Quoting new business through outbound call initiatives, introductory letters and receiving walk-in clients
6 ?3 I0 k f: S Contacting Underwriters and Adjusters to discuss guidelines and policy F0 p$ o8 D, q2 T
Preparing documentation for insurers, completing applications for clients, issuing insurance certificates, processing changes and reviewing renewals Q' C0 `( F1 j+ U
Keeping current on underwriting rules and workflow processes/ E) z0 l# ?4 C! ~! u
Actively participate in training initiatives1 J) O4 K, A. p2 A% r% g( F! \
Participate in community marketing initiatives* Q; E5 i7 Q8 S. D- S
0 W# L% ?6 ^- z) X( x7 F0 O1 ZThe ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

$ K& z p' l9 r/ w* O High School and or Post Secondary Education
) P$ C& Y2 r; x" `0 K Previous customer service experience4 Y7 T' L" e* x' u7 n
Previous sales experience an asset
3 o; d, R( X- Z; r- N; @9 @ General Insurance License Level 1 or willing to obtain
( j2 K# _- E2 ? Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities successfully
6 h4 _, h( x+ g Strong analytical and organizational skills
