Position Summary:
To provide front-line customer service of Personal Lines policies and taking responsibility for the retention and account development of existing clients, quoting and placing new business as required.

7 J& q! R% C3 t0 C4 aPrimary Objective/Duties of position:

    Servicing on-going client needs, advising on insurance matters, conduct needs assessment, recommending solutions, answering inquiries, conduct care calls and process renewals
    Selling new policies/writing new business to existing or new clients, retaining existing book of business
  Z# z, c! ?" S' G) s: x2 d4 w    Quoting new business through outbound call initiatives, introductory letters and receiving walk-in clients
( f2 S! ?  P/ U8 d$ k    Contacting Underwriters and Adjusters to discuss guidelines and policy
- N( t; q: |4 o+ ^& c) s    Preparing documentation for insurers, completing applications for clients, issuing insurance certificates, processing changes and reviewing renewals

8 w6 S9 X: ?* B7 l) O3 i    Actively participate in training initiatives
    Participate in community marketing initiatives

( |  `3 Y& |# M# mThe ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
! H. t- Y5 H; m# K/ {9 f% T
  `9 e8 F( Y& V0 N& T3 ]    High School and or Post Secondary Education
$ U! x# ?; a) s  ?    Previous customer service experience
9 I) x( r/ ~9 M4 j  d    Previous sales experience an asset
    General Insurance License Level 1 or willing to obtain
7 N$ n9 y' f5 i& I6 d    Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities successfully
    Strong analytical and organizational skills
