Overall function of this position is to develop the East Asian customer base of the company. The purpose of the Business Development Rep is to drive new business in his/her territory, while maintaining profitable sales

• To initiate, follow up on and negotiate opportunities with potential customers for the intended purpose of ‘signing’ them as new business. This is measured through in-store customer sales. 

7 Y! Q7 W5 b0 R9 \- x- _1 v9 Q; w• To develop the customer base through cultivating leads & opportunities and be able to convert these into regular customers.

, i; _% ^5 d% z• To be accountable via daily sales call reporting in real time, measured against territory growth (non-tobacco store sales) vs. the previous year.; m, ?& `5 K, M3 c4 `% l

• To execute focused selling in a large territory targeting the food-service industry, maintenance calling on high volume KEY customers in foodservice, convenience stores, small businesses, clubs & organizations.+ I6 W0 k# i4 p: p/ s4 k

• To execute the division’s promotional and marketing programs in conjunction with the overall business plan. Accountability via customer buying activity during the period measured through store sales.0 U3 E2 ^/ `% h3 X3 [

• To manage all aspects of customer inquiries leading to regular store visits, including initial store tours.

• To develop customer relationships with gold level customer base and industry organizations.

Job Qualifications
& k; ^- f: E! G# v5 o/ T0 f/ R* H• Ability to speak English and Cantonese or Mandarin 

9 r3 G6 j& D, s9 G# C' D' L1 `- \• Proven experience meeting aggressive sales targets.
2 U) I% ~* q; n8 d" Z4 y. s3 i, b
• Minimum of 5 years of sales experience.

. Y8 w4 B# {, o; M• East Asian Food Service and/or Wholesale sales experience is desirable.
( h* s7 U. n! J$ h/ f+ w; U" [* i$ M
• Superior communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills.
! `; l# S7 _5 K9 ]0 E4 l
• Travel within the assigned region.

• Comfortable using automated selling technology in a daily setting – Salesforce.com
