请教：门前树下的一圈石子怎么铺？

去年才买的房，今年门前树下的那一圈石子上已经有很多草长了出来。
' T: [" D7 u; K! x' A7 `我想要把石子重新铺一下，不知道需要注意些什么呢？

是不是这些步骤？
把石子移走
/ g- e3 C# }$ M$ F把下面的landscaping fabric移走
皮圈里面的草拔掉
) t% |8 f1 u1 b4 n1 e(需不需要在剩下的土上喷一下除草剂呀？会不会连树一起给灭了呢？)
铺新的landscaping fabric
再把石子铺回去

& A2 M# ?: X( a  tchance is minimal, if worry, cover the tree trunk with something when you spray the herbicide.

底下铺一些碎木头或树皮，草就不长了。上面在放上石子。
