Position Title: Program Manager (Downtown Office) – Full time position  3 O; P7 }$ m  _4 a

This position reports directly to the District Program Manager

6 F6 }" ?! v4 M" _6 k. M' tKey Responsibilities are as follows:6 v3 T8 Y. Z0 J8 F6 d
•This position is accountable for the effective development, delivery and evaluation of Integrated Service Program funded by the Citizenship and Immigration Canada and Alberta Human Services 7 |# k2 u! }3 I. ~+ W
•Specific accountabilities include analyzing and defining community needs, assisting in the development of new initiatives and overall strategy, participation in community and/or industry advocacy and social action processes, project management, recruitment, leadership and performance appraisal of a team of  up to 10 para-professionals and/or volunteers, program priority setting, maintenance of appropriate reporting, development and management of program budget, preparation of report submissions to funding or regulatory bodies6 ]: m  B, F0 f$ G2 B, n5 M
•Required skills include:  understanding of client needs and appropriate interventions, program implementation and evaluation, creativity and ongoing program development, leadership and co-ordination of service provision and administrative functions, participation in budget development and monitoring, staff recruiting, supervision, development and evaluation, client case management, program data collection, data and narrative reporting7 A- d1 X" V1 v- H2 {7 q
•Responsibilities include relationship management with CIC, AHS and other organizations; community development planning and activities; participation in and leadership of agency-wide projects.6 Y7 ~0 Z4 {5 m# U, A- W
•Coordination with other program coordinators in LINC, ECALA, family, youth and senior programs is essential

! d2 Z+ b$ x  i& WQualifications:7 b9 j* p4 f* Y
•University degree or diploma in a related field or extensive related experience ;' {0 I+ |8 e3 I( w1 i% X
•Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit/voluntary organization;$ Y  j9 V  N+ y; ?! I
•Knowledge of settlement/cross-cultural processes, human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;
5 a+ R/ v2 C$ L$ a5 S9 W; i) S1 A•Two or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization or demonstrated potential
" f+ z' k  |* S4 W; C•Fluent in English, knowledge of another language is preferred but not mandatory.! k5 q( P- p4 j6 R
