! v% T3 f7 A2 [Key Responsibilities are as follows:7 L+ _8 k2 J& h! }5 o% Z
•This position is accountable for the effective development, delivery and evaluation of Integrated Service Program funded by the Citizenship and Immigration Canada and Alberta Human Services & S, W' Z+ e$ Y. x
•Specific accountabilities include analyzing and defining community needs, assisting in the development of new initiatives and overall strategy, participation in community and/or industry advocacy and social action processes, project management, recruitment, leadership and performance appraisal of a team of up to 10 para-professionals and/or volunteers, program priority setting, maintenance of appropriate reporting, development and management of program budget, preparation of report submissions to funding or regulatory bodies7 z7 K. o8 x% [6 j j' c# _/ Z
•Required skills include: understanding of client needs and appropriate interventions, program implementation and evaluation, creativity and ongoing program development, leadership and co-ordination of service provision and administrative functions, participation in budget development and monitoring, staff recruiting, supervision, development and evaluation, client case management, program data collection, data and narrative reporting
& n* Y2 l; T- a$ O+ v f% G/ `•Responsibilities include relationship management with CIC, AHS and other organizations; community development planning and activities; participation in and leadership of agency-wide projects.

Qualifications:
9 u; p, l( y: x•University degree or diploma in a related field or extensive related experience ;5 |' L p! @5 E' x
•Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit/voluntary organization;: g q7 _# e! w* g
•Knowledge of settlement/cross-cultural processes, human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management; a( e( m0 S" A
•Two or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization or demonstrated potential ) P2 a- C# Z; f+ Z3 s3 [/ y
•Fluent in English, knowledge of another language is preferred but not mandatory.
