Position Title: Program Manager (Downtown Office) – Full time position

This position reports directly to the District Program Manager: ?* A2 z* x  V. p) |/ X1 X

3 ]- R; `% v& \1 P5 E( J2 aKey Responsibilities are as follows:& w* s0 \; x9 V! ^
•This position is accountable for the effective development, delivery and evaluation of Integrated Service Program funded by the Citizenship and Immigration Canada and Alberta Human Services 3 ~2 v& e& z5 ]$ d5 b4 l
•Specific accountabilities include analyzing and defining community needs, assisting in the development of new initiatives and overall strategy, participation in community and/or industry advocacy and social action processes, project management, recruitment, leadership and performance appraisal of a team of  up to 10 para-professionals and/or volunteers, program priority setting, maintenance of appropriate reporting, development and management of program budget, preparation of report submissions to funding or regulatory bodies) m  d0 T5 E& p8 [' k& Z+ L
•Required skills include:  understanding of client needs and appropriate interventions, program implementation and evaluation, creativity and ongoing program development, leadership and co-ordination of service provision and administrative functions, participation in budget development and monitoring, staff recruiting, supervision, development and evaluation, client case management, program data collection, data and narrative reporting
/ r4 i, C5 E/ `% }( n8 l( u•Responsibilities include relationship management with CIC, AHS and other organizations; community development planning and activities; participation in and leadership of agency-wide projects.' H3 B- }2 H$ K: b3 I
•Coordination with other program coordinators in LINC, ECALA, family, youth and senior programs is essential$ h$ s4 ^- Y2 ^6 x0 R2 Y! W  S

Qualifications:
1 a9 D6 W) s; y8 P* p•University degree or diploma in a related field or extensive related experience ;
" N5 ?7 K* O/ P1 b•Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit/voluntary organization;
  ~% I- X  x4 M•Knowledge of settlement/cross-cultural processes, human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;
) M2 @7 @/ B$ m•Two or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization or demonstrated potential
$ _' w4 f1 L2 D! |; U! B) \•Fluent in English, knowledge of another language is preferred but not mandatory.7 a$ \! K- j0 {2 r6 W
