•This position is accountable for the effective development, delivery and evaluation of Integrated Service Program funded by the Citizenship and Immigration Canada and Alberta Human Services
8 [" A; Q+ Y* v) b•Specific accountabilities include analyzing and defining community needs, assisting in the development of new initiatives and overall strategy, participation in community and/or industry advocacy and social action processes, project management, recruitment, leadership and performance appraisal of a team of up to 10 para-professionals and/or volunteers, program priority setting, maintenance of appropriate reporting, development and management of program budget, preparation of report submissions to funding or regulatory bodies& ]3 o$ X( F# h3 f
•Required skills include: understanding of client needs and appropriate interventions, program implementation and evaluation, creativity and ongoing program development, leadership and co-ordination of service provision and administrative functions, participation in budget development and monitoring, staff recruiting, supervision, development and evaluation, client case management, program data collection, data and narrative reporting9 }) b6 X7 O9 p7 G' t* M
•Responsibilities include relationship management with CIC, AHS and other organizations; community development planning and activities; participation in and leadership of agency-wide projects.5 M3 ^7 `& ]- K( I5 Q0 o
•Coordination with other program coordinators in LINC, ECALA, family, youth and senior programs is essential) t3 ]: B1 f- U2 x5 R% W& w% L

Qualifications:
. G: a5 c/ j A; ^/ t& y* k- W•University degree or diploma in a related field or extensive related experience ;
k/ v+ f/ K; D% w•Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit/voluntary organization;
! f" u# @, a0 }5 J•Knowledge of settlement/cross-cultural processes, human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;
5 M, l) q' z/ B•Two or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization or demonstrated potential
- f! y( L- a" q4 q' ^# [•Fluent in English, knowledge of another language is preferred but not mandatory.
