Key Responsibilities are as follows:
( ]: `1 ~# @& r. B' P•This position is accountable for the effective development, delivery and evaluation of Integrated Service Program funded by the Citizenship and Immigration Canada and Alberta Human Services 2 u' |3 F7 Y1 u5 e1 \
•Specific accountabilities include analyzing and defining community needs, assisting in the development of new initiatives and overall strategy, participation in community and/or industry advocacy and social action processes, project management, recruitment, leadership and performance appraisal of a team of up to 10 para-professionals and/or volunteers, program priority setting, maintenance of appropriate reporting, development and management of program budget, preparation of report submissions to funding or regulatory bodies6 J/ t$ W, E$ R7 g, s) f- ^
•Required skills include: understanding of client needs and appropriate interventions, program implementation and evaluation, creativity and ongoing program development, leadership and co-ordination of service provision and administrative functions, participation in budget development and monitoring, staff recruiting, supervision, development and evaluation, client case management, program data collection, data and narrative reporting4 y! x# W' {% h) ~" l! O
•Responsibilities include relationship management with CIC, AHS and other organizations; community development planning and activities; participation in and leadership of agency-wide projects.7 @, W3 d6 j p
•Coordination with other program coordinators in LINC, ECALA, family, youth and senior programs is essential/ e7 ?2 c% J6 }! b! ~! h0 Y

Qualifications:
" m3 l/ Z. ~" P$ V7 R; m H•University degree or diploma in a related field or extensive related experience ;
0 d( ?3 \5 d9 q; s/ x7 P% W•Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit/voluntary organization;
. T) M6 N4 W' o- B9 J•Knowledge of settlement/cross-cultural processes, human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;2 {/ R: T8 Y/ u- j1 f
•Two or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization or demonstrated potential
8 F, Y! b+ }; C5 }0 y$ j5 z" h•Fluent in English, knowledge of another language is preferred but not mandatory.
