•This position is accountable for the effective development, delivery and evaluation of Integrated Service Program funded by the Citizenship and Immigration Canada and Alberta Human Services
& W* f# v: M# W" X3 d3 v/ ^' K•Specific accountabilities include analyzing and defining community needs, assisting in the development of new initiatives and overall strategy, participation in community and/or industry advocacy and social action processes, project management, recruitment, leadership and performance appraisal of a team of up to 10 para-professionals and/or volunteers, program priority setting, maintenance of appropriate reporting, development and management of program budget, preparation of report submissions to funding or regulatory bodies
- ~3 _% P( @: s& E•Required skills include: understanding of client needs and appropriate interventions, program implementation and evaluation, creativity and ongoing program development, leadership and co-ordination of service provision and administrative functions, participation in budget development and monitoring, staff recruiting, supervision, development and evaluation, client case management, program data collection, data and narrative reporting
8 p! X/ _* b- U•Responsibilities include relationship management with CIC, AHS and other organizations; community development planning and activities; participation in and leadership of agency-wide projects.4 W, P9 Y0 r9 H" I/ H$ f
•Coordination with other program coordinators in LINC, ECALA, family, youth and senior programs is essential

•University degree or diploma in a related field or extensive related experience ;0 v! i0 ?$ h9 D$ i" u! Y
•Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit/voluntary organization;
1 P5 h8 C& [) N; [•Knowledge of settlement/cross-cultural processes, human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;
" c$ c/ y/ e$ @•Two or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization or demonstrated potential . V/ L. v8 @9 r( m0 `* b
•Fluent in English, knowledge of another language is preferred but not mandatory.- e* F" o" J9 ]8 B4 } c, b: h

•Requires a police security check and child welfare check
