Position Overview:

: I& {. r# Z7 y! G0 v& |•Develope scopes of work for subcontrators and RFP packages+ P- r1 x7 r) g0 D! z! p
•Review all aspects of the RFP documents( @& x% j( W. y" t' O: b8 \' y
•Participate in the kickoff meetings with the project team and progress meeting throughout the bid stages
7 i1 H% f) S) ]8 ^& H; p; @8 h•Coordinate with subcontractors to understand the scope of work # c" s0 S$ P2 E& R/ D2 r
•Develope a basis of estimate - Lump Sum, Target Price, Unit Rates, Create or modifty templates used in Excel to build pricing. r0 i k) O- U& X& z# v6 w4 @; K
•Research work locations for local subcontractors within the area and build relationships
2 c# M; w/ V; O+ w) ?9 X9 N" x' m•Support subcontractor technical clarifications during the bid cycle
( v# V. J4 o. G1 v, m3 s) ^) U•Support subcontractor bid evaluations and make recommendations to the Lead Estimator4 ~2 q, y8 ~# J2 h, ]& G
•Liaise with Lead Estimator, Project Manager, and Project Controls to present key elements of the estimate which will influence the development of a bid schedule and project execution plan |
