Today Family Violence Help Centre is an innovative centre which operates with an integrated services model providing a single point of entry to comprehensive services for those impacted by family violence in Edmonton and area. The Today Family Violence Help Centre is part of a collaborative, coordinated community response.

We are currently looking for an experienced individual for the term position of Housing Support Worker to start immediately. As part of a team, the individual will be required to build a housing registry, develop relationships with community agencies that will address housing needs and coordination of housing services for individuals impacted by Family Violence.

3 c# ]8 n. b$ Q8 n" ^The ideal candidate would possess the following qualifications:
 Minimum post secondary degree or in progress of obtaining a degree.
, W7 s: k' w2 [ Two to three years front line experience in providing resources to clients with barriers or experience in programs providing housing to clients with barriers.
 Experience in assisting clients who have barriers to accessing housing.
& T- G& i5 d/ @, b2 g) o5 _5 y# L Commitment to work collaboratively with all constituent groups, including staff, program participants, and community agencies.
" C. @. A9 B7 f3 g; ?/ u2 _ Demonstrated knowledge of community housing resources.
 Excellent computer skills, interpersonal and written communication skills.
* p# C0 W# T7 d, s' V( p Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
