Today Family Violence Help Centre is an innovative centre which operates with an integrated services model providing a single point of entry to comprehensive services for those impacted by family violence in Edmonton and area. The Today Family Violence Help Centre is part of a collaborative, coordinated community response.

6 ~, Z4 j2 a& TWe are currently looking for an experienced individual for the term position of Housing Support Worker to start immediately. As part of a team, the individual will be required to build a housing registry, develop relationships with community agencies that will address housing needs and coordination of housing services for individuals impacted by Family Violence.

1 a) H: S1 J8 PThe ideal candidate would possess the following qualifications:
! j3 a8 X: y( l2 j& W* @8 t$ | Minimum post secondary degree or in progress of obtaining a degree.
* u4 [+ U$ {( ?( I2 i8 K" o Two to three years front line experience in providing resources to clients with barriers or experience in programs providing housing to clients with barriers.
 Experience in assisting clients who have barriers to accessing housing.
 Commitment to work collaboratively with all constituent groups, including staff, program participants, and community agencies.
$ K/ W$ |3 D, u Demonstrated knowledge of community housing resources.
 Excellent computer skills, interpersonal and written communication skills.
/ O, d1 x. I# X; q9 }+ r0 Q+ D, G Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
