• To minimize the costs of operation in the Front Office Department while maximizing revenues.

( d* A! d+ b, S: ?# y* T• To recruit, train and develop Front Office personnel and provide direction, support, mentor and motivate as necessary.8 f6 E) X) e5 J3 A! w, V
• To maintain or exceed the established standards of operation.
! u6 n; P+ m* t' @• To ensure the assets of the Front Office Department are maintained and controlled in accordance with the standards and objectives of the Hotel.9 q) i1 s/ ?+ [. d: m( M3 q$ j
• To communicate effectively with other Departments Heads to levels of business and type of business.

• Manage rates on a daily basis for short and long term.
& B( [& }5 m Q• Perform 3 month and one year evaluations and/or when needed.

• Attend Cluster meetings. . K- } `8 `9 |* o9 s
• Complete month end report, ROB, Cluster calendar, tracking, forecasting, source of business and any other revenue related report.6 d3 v; c- y( L& [% F6 o
• Handle PMS computer problems in each department 6 L; g$ R4 S2 k9 s, z2 `
• Handle any issue with the 4 different interfaces : PBX call accounting, PBX messages, voice mail and movies
# M( t, y# N2 R+ m L• Handle any issues dealing with high speed internet in guest rooms or business center/ _; L% g |, d7 ]7 _5 S; X; K- F
• Maintaining front desk floats, and FOM float 2 D9 F: H5 |2 D' E8 P
