Job Description:
+ b0 H4 d7 u9 H  p, OJob Responsibilities
1 K5 o' M& x4 V2 l; p: R- Q* `) R•        To minimize the costs of operation in the Front Office Department while maximizing revenues.- u$ S8 t# V' [. C2 ?/ q
•        Oversee hotel security requirements.
3 x3 U, G; r" `+ x; ?; F•        To recruit, train and develop Front Office personnel and provide direction, support, mentor and motivate as necessary.
; z3 m7 u1 o( n# X•        To maintain or exceed the established standards of operation. ' c, n, x: U& x0 n! |
•        To ensure the assets of the Front Office Department are maintained and controlled in accordance with the standards and objectives of the Hotel.
' i1 e8 ^0 }6 x•        To communicate effectively with other Departments Heads to levels of business and type of business.# v, |1 W8 i5 x+ a3 z* M
•        To ensure positive closure to any negative situation. Handling and resolving guest complaints and unwanted guests.
) R$ P6 A7 J/ a: f& {3 _! m( S# O) \2 y•        Be able to work all shifts including night audit when business levels are warranted. I.e. working weekends, covering sick leave.
8 s4 j9 L& X* d& h8 k0 j/ W6 n•        Weekly scheduling of the front desk staff.
) y, S7 m+ a2 }# v•        Manage rates on a daily basis for short and long term.
9 `$ x% A7 f" r•        Perform 3 month and one year evaluations and/or when needed.
, l( ]  a7 i- _6 Y# T0 _•        Leading and coaching to provide exceptional guest service. " b0 q. E6 U& V% }
•        Ensuring the safety and well being of our guests and co-workers by having working knowledge of crisis and emergency procedures and that all front desk staff are also aware.# \% r8 Q6 t% W3 |/ t
•        Attend Cluster meetings. - u" z. k9 P% B4 S0 a. q
•        Complete month end report, ROB, Cluster calendar, tracking, forecasting, source of business and any other revenue related report.
. s$ c  g8 Y( C* C3 s' R' V" L•        Handle PMS computer problems in each department
& u9 G6 u. [4 }0 I5 J; i•        Handle any issue with the 4 different interfaces : PBX call accounting, PBX messages, voice mail and movies& G; X/ m# n! M& v
•        Handle any issues dealing with high speed internet in guest rooms or business center
- ?/ R! ~, l; J3 h•        Maintaining front desk floats, and FOM float
2 C! M! F: ^5 [! O•        Any other tasks assigned by the General Manager

Requirements:
) Q8 u# c1 p& f# x3 ]•1-2 year of Management/ Supervisory experience in a Limited Service Property or Full Service Property
0 z* X4 K$ X$ q0 _# r5 M4 y• Ability to deal with all levels of management, staff and businesses in a professional manner;7 e. h8 ^: L% b0 x9 H. g+ H, H  ]
• Ability to lead and develop;
9 y. x1 S, T  Y: T; _: S2 e/ g• Background in the development & execution of business and operating budgets;
+ t/ E+ s% S3 M' S• Excellent oral & written communication skills; Strong organizational skills and be detailed orientated;& K6 g7 R# T$ k7 s
• Ability to work within deadlines;
$ P% V  z8 k% h! Z4 ?• High level of creativity and innovation;
% _8 i+ [! J' _3 L• Proven ability to manage multi-tasked assignments;
4 ~/ l8 y* ?; m% T• Strong interpersonal skills and a working knowledge of ACT, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
