/ J: v/ |& o) }9 g7 T/ o7 R8 m" ?• To minimize the costs of operation in the Front Office Department while maximizing revenues.8 _" B! |% M' _ v( P
• Oversee hotel security requirements.
, B2 R( G3 }/ d* ?• To recruit, train and develop Front Office personnel and provide direction, support, mentor and motivate as necessary.. A) J# j/ t$ n6 m
• To maintain or exceed the established standards of operation.
1 F, |, p& r0 j( b# c$ M7 b/ W• To ensure the assets of the Front Office Department are maintained and controlled in accordance with the standards and objectives of the Hotel.
9 N. O' b7 e0 V( L4 r* h• To communicate effectively with other Departments Heads to levels of business and type of business.
0 g: m; r( O" X: b d# ^5 z% Q! S8 B• To ensure positive closure to any negative situation. Handling and resolving guest complaints and unwanted guests.
5 ?( _6 L( e. @( A! D" G' M• Be able to work all shifts including night audit when business levels are warranted. I.e. working weekends, covering sick leave.2 u6 \# ~# s9 S
• Weekly scheduling of the front desk staff. + E% o( Q" g1 E1 c5 d' W1 p
• Manage rates on a daily basis for short and long term.
7 ~& S; r% \9 U4 M; P• Perform 3 month and one year evaluations and/or when needed.
+ {! f% @" M# v; c* a- i• Leading and coaching to provide exceptional guest service. , R' w% T3 t4 o# x* P
• Ensuring the safety and well being of our guests and co-workers by having working knowledge of crisis and emergency procedures and that all front desk staff are also aware.( _& P; W0 D7 F: v% l/ Z
• Attend Cluster meetings.
w4 a) j8 C0 J2 ]• Complete month end report, ROB, Cluster calendar, tracking, forecasting, source of business and any other revenue related report.
, l; p! e. r- X• Handle PMS computer problems in each department
- w4 n4 d4 L1 x: { s• Handle any issue with the 4 different interfaces : PBX call accounting, PBX messages, voice mail and movies; }9 x4 d3 l' P9 Z8 R$ o
• Handle any issues dealing with high speed internet in guest rooms or business center

Requirements:
+ \5 |2 C2 F. }. z•1-2 year of Management/ Supervisory experience in a Limited Service Property or Full Service Property

• Ability to lead and develop;
3 R- g2 m: F. Z• Background in the development & execution of business and operating budgets;

• Ability to work within deadlines;
