Job Description:

7 k! [1 p# U& K$ d•        To minimize the costs of operation in the Front Office Department while maximizing revenues.) v- M; a9 g7 T+ r+ O. V
•        Oversee hotel security requirements.
1 |$ V6 \2 G/ n9 M7 G•        To recruit, train and develop Front Office personnel and provide direction, support, mentor and motivate as necessary.3 v, H  l1 v4 i* r! O
•        To maintain or exceed the established standards of operation.
, `+ V& ?& s3 e9 U5 N•        To ensure the assets of the Front Office Department are maintained and controlled in accordance with the standards and objectives of the Hotel.
! k% q& S, K# G6 K/ A! F0 F  n1 v•        To communicate effectively with other Departments Heads to levels of business and type of business.
' m3 G/ s; U$ H2 m•        To ensure positive closure to any negative situation. Handling and resolving guest complaints and unwanted guests.
: H8 e* f  L; |' t' h) N$ a" J& W•        Be able to work all shifts including night audit when business levels are warranted. I.e. working weekends, covering sick leave.
2 P  o- M( s0 X) K6 g& U/ O1 w•        Weekly scheduling of the front desk staff. 7 T2 Q# I3 q6 ~! x
•        Manage rates on a daily basis for short and long term. + W* d' J7 I" E) [$ A
•        Perform 3 month and one year evaluations and/or when needed.
, G) c% r0 y: m' P7 I•        Leading and coaching to provide exceptional guest service. $ w# |1 z  @3 m) e( L, P
•        Ensuring the safety and well being of our guests and co-workers by having working knowledge of crisis and emergency procedures and that all front desk staff are also aware.+ S  R! h2 M9 D' p# G
•        Attend Cluster meetings.
( Z; |3 P# g( d( m•        Complete month end report, ROB, Cluster calendar, tracking, forecasting, source of business and any other revenue related report.
; K0 P5 I5 ~* }! q8 X! Q•        Handle PMS computer problems in each department
6 L& ^- ~  S1 R8 M% A•        Handle any issue with the 4 different interfaces : PBX call accounting, PBX messages, voice mail and movies' n/ {' c: a6 R( ~! x; v" d) d* q
•        Handle any issues dealing with high speed internet in guest rooms or business center* f0 L) o8 D+ D  @' |) |8 g( o% W
•        Maintaining front desk floats, and FOM float

Requirements:0 Y( ~( c2 e! I. B8 K6 {+ q
•1-2 year of Management/ Supervisory experience in a Limited Service Property or Full Service Property+ A" y# v. x) Q: \
• Ability to deal with all levels of management, staff and businesses in a professional manner;
3 b0 n% J9 u  e# P& l# k7 u• Ability to lead and develop;& h" I% O) `3 f. H2 O, Z
• Background in the development & execution of business and operating budgets;2 x# n" Z1 `* E' W  s
• Excellent oral & written communication skills; Strong organizational skills and be detailed orientated;* W: {' p! i' g9 Q2 R0 j
• Ability to work within deadlines;
