Job Description:
To acquire and maintain a solid base of customers, attaining a high level of profitability for the property. You will be accountable for generating budgeted revenue through development and implementation of a sales & marketing strategy.

• Solicit new business: Locally Negotiated, leisure, association, tours, sports, group markets and incentive travel through planned personal calls, mail outs and telephone solicitations.
• Develop and execute annual Business Plan and Sales and Marketing plan to ensure top line revenues are achieved;
• Execute individual travel bookings, group bookings, small meetings and catering business;
, q$ L+ l5 M# j+ Y; g( B/ @7 d• Provide professional leadership to the sales team with a strong focus on achieving budgeted revenues;
) m- v% s( {5 p! U& D; R• Investigate/follow-up on all Sales leads maintaining an effective trace system in order to convert potential business, lapsed business and maximize on repeat business.
• As part of the hotel's sales team, assist in the creation, planning and organization of any in-house promotional efforts of the hotel;
) ~1 B7 x+ n; `- c2 H3 y( k• Work with National/Regional Sales initiatives;
# `4 @# m/ F, n( ]) N• Participate in trade shows;
• Attend public relation functions; Participating in community and trade boards and committees on behalf of the hotel;
• To participate in Revenue/Yield Management meetings; Increase Market Share;
$ x- Q7 z2 f5 S5 g• Maintain close relationship with reservations and front office staff;
) l7 I: F) ~2 O/ S0 o$ e8 O, K# N• Ensure top level delivery of expected guest service;

Requirements:
2 W+ ^3 K. ]$ ?•1-2 year of Sales or Supervisory experience in a Limited Service Property or Full Service Property
• Ability to deal with all levels of management, staff and businesses in a professional manner;
  h1 Q% r' C- g, v• Ability to lead and develop;
' v4 u$ n# l8 V# Q& Z# c5 E• Background in the development & execution of business, marketing and sales plans and operating budgets;
• Proven record of development of sales and marketing efforts;
• Excellent oral & written communication skills; Strong organizational skills and be detailed orientated;
• Ability to work within deadlines;
• High level of creativity and innovation;
• Proven ability to manage multi-tasked assignments;
