To acquire and maintain a solid base of customers, attaining a high level of profitability for the property. You will be accountable for generating budgeted revenue through development and implementation of a sales & marketing strategy./ ^( t8 k3 w/ w
) X `6 p/ h1 K7 f• Solicit new business: Locally Negotiated, leisure, association, tours, sports, group markets and incentive travel through planned personal calls, mail outs and telephone solicitations.) n L* t$ G& _: g g! q/ H
• Develop and execute annual Business Plan and Sales and Marketing plan to ensure top line revenues are achieved;
. v+ P7 g# V8 m, O• Execute individual travel bookings, group bookings, small meetings and catering business;% [3 f) ?, C! j; _3 K! W1 J! k
• Provide professional leadership to the sales team with a strong focus on achieving budgeted revenues;, z( Y( l1 S" H# Z# c# g, {( D4 }
• Investigate/follow-up on all Sales leads maintaining an effective trace system in order to convert potential business, lapsed business and maximize on repeat business.0 D! x, g2 ^* h0 P% _ |
• As part of the hotel's sales team, assist in the creation, planning and organization of any in-house promotional efforts of the hotel;

• Maintain close relationship with reservations and front office staff;

Requirements:
, q {1 |( b& y Y; k•1-2 year of Sales or Supervisory experience in a Limited Service Property or Full Service Property

• Ability to lead and develop;
c2 I5 p2 X9 O• Background in the development & execution of business, marketing and sales plans and operating budgets;

• Excellent oral & written communication skills; Strong organizational skills and be detailed orientated;
