Location: The job is based in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, however frequent travel to project sites in various provinces of Canada is required.

7 L* J# d* R5 m N5 r X- Connect piping systems to water mains, supply tanks, pumps, compressors and control equipment
5 {$ D3 d! o& i- Read and interpret drawings, blueprints and specifications furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form to determine layout requirements
( H3 P8 P7 o3 E7 D" s0 ~! a- Cut openings for pipe in walls, floors and ceilings using hand or power tools or machines! J0 A" O# X' {- y% K3 V
- Select type and size of pipe required4 ?8 A. b1 C# h9 {# R
- Measure, cut, thread and bend pipe to required shape using hand and power tools3 Q; ^3 q e% r3 U$ A
- Weld, braze, cement, solder and thread joints to join pipes and fabricate sections of piping system# E; E! s" V4 A' C: Q" q; j% {
- Install supports, valves, piping and control systems8 I+ ?" Z. p) ?4 F
- Test system for leaks using testing equipment7 V+ Q6 r- Y4 p. V
- Clean and maintain pipe units and fittings and flush system% T# G" {6 z, X5 Q! R
- Remove and replace worn components and reactivate system: w( l, ]9 C1 J) M
- Actively participate in the Iyinisiw safety program) U: m0 I* [! c9 l
- Other tasks related to pipefitting as may be required during the course of business

- Completion of formal Apprenticeship Program of four- to five-years or a combination of over five years of work experience in the trade and some high school, college or industry courses in pipefitting system installation % V3 G8 [. c' I% @1 H2 P9 M
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
