Compensation: $37.00/h in BC, $34.50/h in SK

Work Hours: 10h/d, depending on shift cycle, overtime at 1.5 times regular wages

9 Q2 @9 N8 x# wResponsibilities and Tasks
        Read blueprints, diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures
        Rebuild and/or repair production machinery and systems on site
. e# I" T# J6 x- ^3 N: T        Assemble machinery and equipment prior to installation using hand and power tools and welding equipment
  K0 r0 C  b: b        Install, align, dismantle and move stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment, such as pumps, fans, tanks, conveyors, furnaces and generators according to layout plans using hand and power tools
        Install, troubleshoot and maintain power transmission, vacuum, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and programmable logic controls
        Operate hoisting and lifting devices such as cranes, jacks and tractors to position machinery and parts during the installation, set-up and repair of machinery
3 K2 U( F3 ?3 G/ A: ^4 }8 f. U        Inspect and examine machinery and equipment to detect and investigate irregularities and malfunctions, reporting of all suspect facility and operational issues
        Adjust machinery and repair or replace defective parts
- ^8 O" l" p3 X: g        Operate machine tools such as lathes and grinders to fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance or set-up of machinery
. e8 l5 Z& D- g/ z+ q% l; C        Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on machinery
        Construct foundations for machinery or direct other workers to construct foundations
        Provide support to the manufacturing operations, positively interacting with customers for timely resolution of production/equipment concerns

        Other tasks related to industrial equipment as may be required during the course of business

2 E- M  c; k! r$ f  J; A, W& K; @! {: {-        Completion of secondary school
-        Completion of a three- to four-year apprenticeship program or a combination of over five years of work experience in the trade and some high school, college or industry courses in industrial machinery repair or for millwrights
! ?; Q. I5 I7 ^5 B-        Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
-        Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
-        Industrial mechanic (millwright) trade certification is considered an asset
% R/ G; r3 ]' g, z4 S-        Safety tickets are considered an asset
0 H0 a) t; Q" R! I1 s/ \) p-        Interprovincial Red Seal is an asset
-        Valid driver’s license is an asset

Required Qualifications

-        A minimum of 5 years’ work experience as an industrial Millwright
