Responsibilities

·         Engineering 480V to 38kV switchgear
! i( t$ J7 ^, J! N# f* \' h
( r! Q3 Z6 v( Y/ b% C5 l·         Engineering 2.4kV to 7.2kV Motor Control Centres including softstarters and autotransformer starters

·         Engineering fully integrated electrical buildings

·         Reviewing vendor drawings

·         Analyze customer drawings, specification and engineering notes in order to create a design that meets the customer’s needs.

·         Create a scope of work by identifying the company’s agreed to obligation.

·         Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.

- T- U4 Q4 |! }% F  }8 B( y·         Assist project management and estimation with draft budget changes, based on customer design/scope changes.

·         Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.

·         Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.

·         Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.

- }  g4 I4 v+ J0 d
2 y6 T2 z/ H9 ?. W6 s·         Registered with APEGGA as an Engineer in Training

·         Attention to detail is a must
/ t. g% G5 y9 V! Y
3 E4 k9 z6 |% e" _: P·         Experience using AutoCAD is an asset

7 P3 ?! `3 Z) ^3 |. D·         Experience with Microsoft Office is an asset

  n9 w8 S% c8 Q, ]·         Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.

·         Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

·         Ability to manage the engineering of multiple projects simultaneously

·         Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial.

Overtime may be required to meet project deadlines.

Some travel may be required for the purpose of meeting with clients, stakeholders, or off-site personnel/management.
