Responsibilities

, C3 ~: U. x: V4 y6 R# y·         Engineering 480V to 38kV switchgear

·         Engineering 2.4kV to 7.2kV Motor Control Centres including softstarters and autotransformer starters

·         Reviewing vendor drawings

·         Analyze customer drawings, specification and engineering notes in order to create a design that meets the customer’s needs.

) `; p4 {; B4 ^" b- ^) s1 N·         Create a scope of work by identifying the company’s agreed to obligation.

·         Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.

& n8 A6 x+ D  s0 t: U·         Assist project management and estimation with draft budget changes, based on customer design/scope changes.

. G' l9 Q5 x( M/ u7 Z·         Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.

·         Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.

·         BSc in Electrical Engineering

·         Registered with APEGGA as an Engineer in Training

·         Attention to detail is a must

% n" {+ `7 j3 `- n1 ~·         Experience using AutoCAD is an asset

·         Experience with Microsoft Office is an asset

$ a5 d2 t; H: J% T& `·         Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.

9 b% z( W4 N3 M% Z·         Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

·         Ability to manage the engineering of multiple projects simultaneously

Work Conditions

Overtime may be required to meet project deadlines.
