4 g# @$ M2 k8 m5 YPosition Summary: Within the broad guidelines of Integrated Service Program funded by Citizenship and Immigration Canada, and Alberta Employment and Immigration, the Receptionist/Immigrant Services Worker will answer a multi-line phone calls professional, politely, and directing the calls correctly; assist in clerical needs of the ISP team; assist with providing counter service and act as relieve to the other Immigrant Services Worker. Key Responsibilities:
' ]' H; i+ a2 c; ^. t! q' h* @• Answer incoming calls and route calls to appropriate person3 @5 H; i! l0 w. C
• Take and deliver messages to the staff of ASSIST# h! \/ ]+ [4 }" I& N) H' J5 s/ S) e* `
• Welcome clients and direct them appropriately
" ^* O8 `6 x( Q% e• Order and maintain office supplies for the front counter& P. c1 | [+ `
• Perform general clerical functions such as photocopying and faxing documents/ B. q; V* H6 Z+ O- c
• Provide assistance to immigrants and clients seeking settlement related services in the capacity of immigrant services worker- C- \) e" \/ ~4 `, {( @
• Maintain and update the information boards with upcoming events
8 I6 z+ u: y5 g• Assist the ISP team in reminding clients to appointments of workshops or other events

• Attend meeting and training to stay current on immigrant settlement matters" r0 U# |& G" w% p; v$ h* S
• Maintain front counter service files

• Report to ISP Program Manager

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
* v) h2 O+ q- t* _( C• Excellent communication (verbal and listening) on phone and in person! l* Z$ F s, u0 n
• Fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese as an asset
0 M" K G. Q' k6 @: q! }' O• Good English writing and oral communication skills
L ]( ^! H% \- L; t3 Q• Ability to work with newcomers and general clients' c8 \4 m8 q9 l. p$ T: c6 ~
• Microsoft Office operation skills- Excel, Word, Outlook- G& ]: s9 K7 P: I# k( a
• Ability to address multi-task and set priority appropriately

Qualifications:9 T: Q) a& i4 g. d. d
• 2-4 years of office and clerical experience ( F1 e) E" j" K. P9 c" e* _# y
• Receptionist or customer service experience in a fast paced environment

• Ability to work well under minimal supervision
