The opthalmologist likely felt confident about his/her diagnosis based on the symptoms without the need for culture test. It's hard to say. - D- {( G1 u1 o7 K h/ TIn your case because it's getting worse, the best bet would be to go to ER again and specifically ask for a different referral for a different ophalmologist.
