•        Complete and post staff schedules
•        Complete inventory and ordering on a weekly basis and adjustments on a daily basis. Complete all paperwork and adjustment on time and deliver to the office on or before deadlines
•        Maintain business records as outlined in the Subway Operations Manual, and as directed by management
•        Communicate changes of food formulas, standards, etc. to staff
•        Support local and national marketing initiatives. New windows up before opening on start date
•        Ensure all local and national health and food safety codes are maintained and company safety and security policies are followed
8 K4 a& K0 i3 b& B6 Z3 _6 S$ m•        Recruit, reward, train, evaluate, and terminate staff, supervising between 10 – 20 employees
; V' A" }9 n5 p7 B5 ~•        Identify and contact prospective customers to promote sales
+ C5 G$ ]; R( f* e* f. }% B6 f' ]•        Plan special events and promotions, participate in all events and promotions sponsored by management
% X+ A" m$ q8 {- l•        Complete online coursework in the University of Subway as directed. Monitor staff progress on University of Subway

Skills/Requirements:

Education: Completion of secondary school is required
& A$ v4 r- ^; k% f! ?, u) a7 l$ cExperience: 2-3 years of supervisory or managerial experience in the food services sector. QSR experience an asset
6 L6 P  i4 d! Q* v3 v* aCredentials: Alberta Health and Food Safety Certificate (paid for by employer)
Physical: Must be able to work any area of the restaurant when needed and to operate a computerized Point of Sale system/ cash register. Position requires bending, standing, and walking the entire workday. Must be able to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds on occasion
