Job Description:
  h& y5 N6 E8 \: c1 c•        Complete and post staff schedules
5 \( r/ z6 J- u7 L3 T•        Complete inventory and ordering on a weekly basis and adjustments on a daily basis. Complete all paperwork and adjustment on time and deliver to the office on or before deadlines
$ b2 Z" k/ U5 b, i' [•        Maintain business records as outlined in the Subway Operations Manual, and as directed by management
: \) W. y6 a2 ?5 q0 Y; Z- w•        Communicate changes of food formulas, standards, etc. to staff
1 X) o4 ?/ Z+ Y. r' A6 N0 i•        Support local and national marketing initiatives. New windows up before opening on start date
•        Ensure all local and national health and food safety codes are maintained and company safety and security policies are followed
9 I% U0 F8 T$ B+ @•        Recruit, reward, train, evaluate, and terminate staff, supervising between 10 – 20 employees
( y' ~& {7 i$ D5 q% E, B•        Identify and contact prospective customers to promote sales
•        Plan special events and promotions, participate in all events and promotions sponsored by management
•        Complete online coursework in the University of Subway as directed. Monitor staff progress on University of Subway

Skills/Requirements:

/ q' w% a+ f$ O: @( R8 N) JEducation: Completion of secondary school is required
Experience: 2-3 years of supervisory or managerial experience in the food services sector. QSR experience an asset
- o+ q# f% |4 h1 n3 ~* RCredentials: Alberta Health and Food Safety Certificate (paid for by employer)
Physical: Must be able to work any area of the restaurant when needed and to operate a computerized Point of Sale system/ cash register. Position requires bending, standing, and walking the entire workday. Must be able to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds on occasion
