EARLY LEARNING FAMILY PROGRAM

The program will be offered at St. Teresa Catholic School every Tuesday for seven; c3 g9 x1 S F1 Q- [2 i+ S7 G: h
weeks beginning March 6th and ending April 24th, 2012.& B* _, P2 K" O$ m( c) ~
(No session March 27th, 2012)' X6 e# G5 l9 w
Snack: 3:15pm to 3:45pm
# T- a; D9 J" Q7 \6 Y& t; FRhymes that Bind: 3:45pm to 4:45pm
" z$ G5 P% u4 [7 F5 M6 X1 JThis “drop-in” program introduces parents to various strategies that can support
, E4 T8 o* B6 R' z& q) b7 B, S$ rtheir child’s early literacy and language experiences. It is recommended for4 M9 e7 a3 O4 s' X' l
children that have been identified with language needs. RHYMES THAT BIND is an
% X7 Z. |, w) Y Xoral family literacy program for parents and their children ages 0 – 6. It1 }6 H3 ?7 ], v* n1 y
encourages parents to sing, rhyme, talk and play with their children in a relaxed,
% w; t3 ~8 M$ d, Y" p% Jfun, and supportive environment.5 d$ b( ]1 W/ ^: x0 A" y9 n7 x
Each family will receive a booklet of songs and rhymes at the last session. No
+ W7 V. P1 Y C9 U F% Mregistration is required; a snack will be provided.
